a day in the life of a green witch.
to honor nature and use it in our crafts.
it shows in the way we hang our herbs to the flowers strewn about our home. it's in everything we touch, and everything we see.
we respect nature, and the earth thanks us for it.
and i need to address a few things, as well. i'm a pretty neutral page, and being uplifting to those just starting out in their practice is something i enjoy doing. positivity and encouragement is extremely important.
i've been seeing a lot of "you're a real witch when___" lately
no. just no.
you're a real witch regardless if you're self sufficient or not. look up spells if it's needed, find a mentor if it's needed, educate and find yourself with your pace. it does not mean you're any less.
you're a real witch if you don't have a grimoire, or you don't have your spells memorized.
you're a real witch if you fall into depression and find it hard to practice. make sure your deities know this, find little ways to keep them happy.
you're a real witch, regardless of race, sexuality, whether you're just starting out or you've been practicing for years.
you're a real witch if you're not gatekeeping.
don't discourage our young witches. they need reassurance too. there is no wrong or right way to practice, as long as you're aware of which practices are closed and shouldn't be used unless you're from that heritage.
you're a witch, period. stop telling people that they have to fit a certain criteria to be a "real witch"
i don't believe that you become a witch. it was within and around you all along.
every time you'd collect rocks as a child, or spoke to the moon when you needed comfort, or even when that warm, tingling sensation would hit you while walking in the woods. it was always the little things that didn't quite make sense.
it was calling to you, remember that. you're no less just because you figured it out later.
perhaps, soon, i will be one with nature.
where i've always belonged.
moss —
it grows everywhere. it takes over even the simplest of structure. but do not fret, because once you appreciate its' beauty, it will become your friend. it is necessary.
the connection a witch has with nature is undeniable.
it's incredible, feeling at peace inside a humid forest.
it's unexplainable, feeling the energy underneath the water when you reach through it's current.
the connection we have is inside of everything. the sunshine, the rain, the call of the wind, the fire that keeps us warm— both inside and out.
we come from nature. we must treat her with respect.
when the sea calls to you, you must listen— for every embodiment of mother nature has something to say. that pull you feel is only natural. embrace it, and she will grace you with yet another whispered secret.
Tree roots following the pattern of concrete footpaths
Quick "protective mother Nature and yandere lover" drabble.
In the drabble, the yandere's darling doesn't feel well in their relationship and their darling's a spiritualist and a child of Mother Nature.
"Who do you simply think you are to treat my child that way? My child deserves to bloom freely, not be crused under your absolute patheticness and selfishness. Do you think my child would love you back if you keep them locked and without the proper stuff? Oh no, what you have now is their destroyed version. You destroyed my child, you small-minded imbecile. My child will never love you if you continue with this idiocity. You. Don't. Deserve. Their. Kindness. Or. Anything. Of. Them."
Mother Nature spoke coldly to the foolish yandere who thought that their darling is doing fine under their care. They weren't complaining and fighting back anymore, so what's the problem? To them, that's what a happy life with their darling is. The yandere got even a bit offended and shocked at the deity's words. They had done only what they needed to to have their darling to love them, but was that love really there?
Their darling had lost their smile, the spark in their eyes, their interest in their absolute favorite hobbies, but they were listening and being obedient, so that would mean that they love them back, right? Sure, they had to do some physical punishments on them, but it was necessary in that moment.
"You don't understand my child like I do. My child needs care and freedom. You won't expect to have a garden of healthy flowers with no right conditions, right? You don't love my child, you're simply trying to fill in something disgusting of yours that even Zeus would be disgusted with. You only have one choice: Either treat my child right or continue with your bullshit and I'll show you hell. Choose."
Mother Nature didn't play around with her sweet and caring child. If she thinks that her child is being mistreated, she'll show hell to that person. She knows how her child deserves to be treated, they should be treated like the greatest thing on the Earth, like the air that foolish obsessed fool needs, but instead what do they do? Stomped on her precious child like a disgusting sadist to a precious and rare flower. She will not allow that.
"You do not know even an ounce of how to take care of them, so leave their life, right now at this instant. I'm not joking around as my child's happiness and safety is my top priority in my whole life."
The sunsets are from me and the two forest/nature ones belongs to the photographer that took them and the one who had them first!!
Amazing sights really.
Helmet Jelly
Periphylla periphylla
The Helmet Jelly can be found at all depths of the ocean. This vibrant and strange jellyfish tends to proliferate in Norwegian fjords. They are one of the dominant predators in these isolated ecosystems.

Brittle Stars
Asteroschema Ajax
Brittle stars are in the phylum Enchinodermata and are closely related to sea stars. They have long stringy arms and small podia on the bottoms of their body. They also have a hydrostatic skeleton and have a complex water vascular system. When attacked, they will abandon their arm to confuse predators and make a hasty escape. The photo above is a deep sea brittle star that lives in coral reefs.

What are we here for
If not
To become the spectators
Of the cosmic artwork
Unfolding before our eyes
The cosmic artwork
Of a blue sky
With rose strokes across
As the sun's about to die
Over the far horizon
Only to be born again
The next present
With a new light
The cosmic artwork
Of the birds singing,
On birth of light
Each sunrise, of the clouds
Swaying and changing hues
The cosmic artwork
Of each little life itself
The chaos seemingly random
Binding us all with one life
Of the artist itself.
The cosmic artwork
That created nature,
The mother herself
For she's the artist of
the cosmic art,
Her eyes glittered in awe
Of her own self.

A bagel with mixed berry cream cheese. And a single chicken strip. I eat its two brothers before I took this picture. Red bell pepper with some sauce. A doughnut I was given and some salami. Paired with some mango tea.
Im well aware that my eating has slowed down and so has my nutritional intake. But I have food plans for tomorrow. I just didn't have time to eat because I spent two hours filling out important medical documents while my nephew was tearing the house apart and everyone needed to be in the kitchen for something shaking the table I was writing on and that on top of my hand tremor made it nearly impossible to get anything done.
It's just my family stressing me out too much to function properly. And that's not even the craziest part. I'll share that in another post.
Some pictures I took of the sun hitting deferent things.
I saved a baby bird yesterday. Found it below the nest and I called a wildlife preserve and the guy on the phone helped me figure out how to handle it. After we had a good laugh about it trying to bite me. I scoped it up in my coat to keep it warm because it was missing a ton of feathers. The bird had been throwing dud eggs out for a while and I guess the baby wanted to join.
My first two walls after being sick for over a month. I'm not a hundred percent but I'm getting there.
A white tailed doe with her fawn and yearling.
I absolutely loved watching them grow over the years. Unfortunately the young buck in this photo was struck by truck and passed.
I take all my pictures myself.
