Originally it was just going to be a simple painting practice with one of my characters, but I started playing with the lights and I really liked it .3. I just feel like adding that extra shading and light always makes portraits feel more alive. And I think it's obvious I really like that kind of light that only covers a part of the face, it helps me to highlight the face and I think it looks really good ^^" The proportions are a bit exaggerated, I think trying to make it super realistic makes it lose a bit of personality, especially with this character .3. I think I'm improving my realistic style a bit more .3. I have had so many commissions these last days and just had been a bit desmotivated, that I have hardly done as many painting practices as I would like ;<;
Wow another cat, who would have thought that? A small reference sheet for a story I've been wanting to write for a long time, but every so often I change details :b and then I don't even know what to write. The story is about witches, or wicca, and this is the protagonist's cat, Candle. And Candle is a mix of bengal because I like them too much XD The story is based on a dream I had :b and in the dream the cat was completely black, but there are already many characters like that, so I wanted to make his design a little more interesting. I also want to make a mini reference sheet for the rest of the characters, but first I want to improve my human drawings ;-;
Characters (from first to last) - Fawn - Kyo - Amaranth - Ai-Ai So for a long time I wanted to practice more painting realistic animals with my ocs, but my problem is that I was trying to make very detailed and large paintings, instead of something simpler like this. The problem is that I got too used to painting the reference photos as they are and I saw them, and I wasn't learning anything with that, apart from copying, and I was also getting bored just drawing the photo as it is, or just animal portraits,I realize that it wasn't the way I wanted to go, so I hope to have more time to do something like this soon I really need and want to do more practices like this, since I also want to try more animals, as well as paint hair, but for now I'll leave it here, since I need to concentrate on my commissions. Also, if you are interested, I was thinking of opening experiment realistic icons commission, actually I would use 600 or 700px, it is not the size of the icon but it is the minimum with which I can paint realistic .3.

My cats are fine. :) In February, Sora had reached estrus before castration. And Sora did not go home for about 10 days. During that time I searched for Sora, but could not find Sora. I felt responsible as an owner. However, I also felt that Sora was originally a free stray cat. After all, Sora returned home on the 10th day. Although I was relieved, I took Sora to the hospital soon after Sora returned. He had to castrate in order to live as a house cat. I was troubled for the first time then whether it was their happiness. And I felt sorry I didn't think so at the time of castration of Torasan and Chibi. I have no idea what happened to Sora for about 10 days. They have no choice but to come back, Still, Sora would have seen a world like never before. I think that was something they were born to live that way. From now on, I have to make them a lot happy. 最近、寅さんはごはん以外、外出ばかりしています。代わりにそらがずっと家に居るようになりました。この二匹はあんまりうまくいっていません。というか、寅さんが一緒に居るのは嫌そうです。。あんまり帰ってこないので、探すこともありますが、、野良猫になって（帰って）しまうのではないかと心配もします。。 あと数か月で、ゴンタが亡くなってから約３年経とうとしていますが、これまで彼らについてはいろんなことがあります。 果たして寅さんは家の猫になれるのでしょうか？？
