ā¤ļø I think Cars 2 was real start of the 2010s Disney Twist Villain crazeā¦
Previous Twist Villains existed before the 2010s, but I think the reason why it became more frustrating for Pixar and Disney movies in that time was because of one person: John Lasseter. Lasseter had been executive producer on all the Pixar and Disney films with the twist villain: Cars 2, Wreck It Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Coco, and Incredibles 2.
While Lasseter was the executive producer on previous Disney and Pixar films with a twist villain (Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc. Incredibles, Meet the Robinsons, and Toy Story 3) he also had a lot more oversight as well. He wasnāt the most powerful man in animation at the time.
I think Lasseter really liked the twist villain and production-timeline wise, he probably suggested twist villains while making Cars 2.
With that being saidā¦ I think Miles Axlerod is the smartest in the sense that he never brags about his crimes to his victims. He only reveals himself as the villain when thereās a bomb inches from him and seconds away from blowing him up. Axlerod was smart enough to be cautious, not going to his meetings in-person, using a disguise voice and I think changed his color(?)ā¦
As for the amount of money he probably spent setting up the World Grand Prix as a shamā¦ Well if the 2020s have taught us anything is that being a billionaire doesnāt necessarily mean youāre a genius.
Iām not saying Miles Axlerod my favorite, but I kind like him in the historical sense of animation production and writing, what heās meant to represent in the movie itself, and for shallow reason of silly/scary fanfics about him. Like in the same way people use Prince Hans (no super powers or soft/sad boy-ism, but manipulation, charm, wealth, and privilege).
š I liked crashing into Mia and Tia on the Cars video game because it kind of gave me a glimpse of their personalities. Surprisingly they are different. Mia is more aggressive with her yelling and whining and has more lines than Tia (in the video game). Mia also has a slightly deeper voice than Tia. Tia is more likely to compliment herself (self confidence queen) and whine.
I donāt get why people assume theyāre teenagers. Not only is that gross for Lightningā¦ but Mater too since theyāre in his tall tales as girls to impress.
Sarge is the underrated hero. Despite calling Fillmore a tree hugger, he clearly distrusts Axlerodās history of being an oil tycoon enough to switch Allinol with Fillmoreās fuel at the last minute. He may call not trust Fillmoreās organic fuel, but he cares about McQueenās safety than his bias. Thereās also this line Mater said in Cars 3 that while Luigi and Guido were Lightning, they put Sarge and Fillmore in charge of the tire shop. Fillmore gave all the tires away and Sarge was hunting them back down becauseā¦ you donāt just do that with someone elseās merchandise.
But at the same time, casually brings a cannon to a party when Fillmore asked:

Octavian after the cannon if he survived:
White fluffy hair around going to his waist, put up in a high ponytail.
A white button up shirt under a black vest with a flowy pattern on it.
Due to the cannon, the left half of his face was horrifically scared, in the same way two face has two faces, half of his face is normal and the other is covers by a metal half mask, with a glowing place where the eye would be.
He wears hearing aids due to going partially deaf due to the loudness of the cannon.
His whole left side is pretty fucked, he lost his left arm fully during cannon, thatās the only thing they found of him. Henry had a metal prosthetic made with the same pattern thatās on the vest carved into it.
His leg wasnāt as bad as his arm but he still lost chunks, he got it metal plated but it still causes him regular pain.
He has to spend over half an hour ruccibg ointment over his whole left half, as itās fully scared.
The only scars on his right side is his top surgery scars and a few he got from fighting.
Goes by Vi to people who donāt know him so he isnāt found by people in his past.
Was awful with a sword, but found he adopted a bow after the whole cannon incident.
Wears heeled boots because on his left half his hell was fully replaced by metal, and itās less painful if his mussels are tensed like that.

And I do want to talk about one thing regarding shipping and how yāall on TikTok act! First, there are the people who hate when anyone ships Odysseus with anyone but Penelope and make sure you know how strongly they feel about it. Then, one time I wrote, 'This is for all you Odypen shippers out there! :D,' in one of my posts and then I suddenly got a bunch of comments saying itās weird to ship Odysseus with Penelope because theyāre already canon, so whatās the point of shipping and making fan content about them?!
