I really like the idea of Micah being aromantic. Specifically aroallo.
He doesn't seem to actually be interested in dating or traditional "love" (while he also makes sexual comments and does express that he's attracted to Abigail)
Though, I'm sure SOME PEOPLE will say that this is a terrible headcannon and that this is just making him a worse guy but idc

We have heard all about cishet aro men (and i am grateful for that) but shoutout to cishet aro women too. I'm sure this "discourse" hasn't been easy for you either and just as much as aro men aren't "fuckboys", you aren't "sluts" for experiencing non-romantic, sexual attraction. You are queer too and the intersection between aromanticism and womanhood makes your voices a valuable part of this community.
Non-Ace Aro Fanwork Week 2025
ever notice the devastating lack of fanworks that involve aromanticism without asexuality? so have i, so after a brief contemplation period i’ve decided to host a fanwork event specifically centred around non-asexual aromanticism. this is kind of spur of the moment and i’m still sorting a few things out, but, i’m confident enough in my planning to start the blog today and post up a spread of how it’s gonna go down!
but first, a little bit about your host. i am Ace (as in, thats my name), but i alternatively go by Ivory. my pronouns are it/its and neopronouns. where i fall on the aromantic spectrum is still to be determined, where i fall between strict asexuality and strict allosexuality is even less determined.

starts punching and tearing at everything in a blind rage. i want AROMANTIC characters i want characters with not an OUNCE of romance about them i don't JUST want aroace characters i want AROMANTIC characters that AREN'T ASEXUAL i want people to headcanon characters as AROMANTIC not just aroace i want fandom to treat AROMANTICISM as AROMANTICISM, and not a SUBCATEGORY OF ASEXUALITY. Giving every aroallo, just aro, and non-asexual aromantic person a respectful nod, hug, high five, handshake, or smile
I personally love it when people do this, assuming it is done right. As an Ace and Gender fluid person I often feel othered, and making a character like idk an alien or something helps me relate more. Because that is a literal way to other the character. Good example of nb alien imo, Double Trouble, there is plenty of other representation in She-Ra so it's pretty clear it was done with no bad intention. Of course, if it is done in a way that equates a lack of conformity to being inhumane then that's another issue. It means the writer doesn't know what they're talking about and should shut up.
Basically, if represented in a positive light, muah, love it, thank you, you get it. If it is negative, boooooooo, get better at writing, you suuuuuccckk.

As an aromantic I do not experience romantic love like other people and would still hate it if I got eaten!!!
saw a post abt "if you must eat animals eat bugs not mammals and birds because at least bugs dont have the ability to love!!!" and ok first off, rude to bugs. lots of bugs participate in relationships we would recognize as similar to the ways we express love. and also i do not think that not experiencing human-y emotions makes an animal less deserving of life, that is weird. second off, you cant justify eating things by only eating shit that "deserves it" or doesnt meet ur alive-ness standards. theres no way to cut that off, everything is always more connected and mote aware and more interesting and more intelligent than we think it is. only way u are going to get not-experiencing food is if you eat fruit nectar honey eggs and mushrooms exclusively. plants are alive and they love each other and they enjoy their existences and experience a lot of complex things! there is no cut off of a living thing being a weird automaton that makes it non-living enough to be edible. you will always be eating a being. u have to get used to reciprocity. u are going to get eaten some day! u can make the world a nice place for other things that are eating each other and having a nice time! its ok. eat.
