Like when the WBD merger first happened, the first thing their target locked on was Cartoon Network. They bulldozed their shows off Max, cancelled every original project in sight, shut down the CNS building, and gave the remaining original programs and half of the channel’s airtime to Adult Swim.
It’s fucking horrific at how quick David Zaslav was to let this all happen. Given that he’s the same guy that made Discovery’s image go from cool educational shows like Mythbusters to reality TV about the most grotesque people on planet earth, it’s no surprise why he’s so hellbent on shitty decisions.
Him and the rest of the media moguls down at WBD can go rot in hell. They learned absolutely nothing from both the WGA and Animation Guild strikes.
in terms of mass media execs the 1s at warner bros probably the 1s i want fed to piranhas the most.the 1s at disney r possibly slightly more evil but the wbd cunts piss me off more. what the actual fiddley FUCK do u mean ur taking off the 1930-1969 looney tunes shorts off max because u want to "prioritize adult and family programming." brother looney tunes IS family programming. i genuinely think zaslav has never watched anything looney tunes in his life bc the franchise' treatment since that cuck has been in charge seem to indicate that he fucking hates it. looney tunes have always been edgy as fuck and enjoyable for older audience while still being appropriate for kids, meaning: FAMILY PROGRAMMING. not only have todays kids' parents grew up with looney tunes and would love to share it with them but their grandparents grew up with it fuckkkkk their great grandparents grew up with it. i cannot stress this enough. these are some of most beloved characters in american culture. bugs bunny is ur stupid company's mascot. i literally just dont see the thought process behind flushing 1 of wb's most beloved and profitable franchise down the shitter over and over again

Adult Swim’s April Fools prank was kinda mid this year.
All we got was a Rick and Morty broadway adaptation and a teaser for season 8. While it wasn’t bad, I feel like they could’ve done better than flexing their cash cow. But hey, take what you can get. Corporations aren’t your friends.
