Description: You and Cairo decide to continue traveling with the muffinteers. But you never expected to be so soft for them. (Romantic Muffinteers x M!Reader)
[Read more under the cut]
You had woken up bright and early, still hovering around until Cairo had woken up, stretching xyr arms and hitting the tents walls. She started crawling to leave the tent, hair still fluffed up, messy with the signs of xyrs long rest.
You followed after her, doing a small stretch of your own. Tents like those were nice enough but they still left such a crick in the neck. Patting down some of xyrs hair for xyr, she batted your hand away before you both started walking towards Bad and George, who were poking at a fire.
"Good morning," She said mid-way through a yawn.
"Good morning!" Bad smiles widely, straightening his back and tilting his head up to smile at you too.
"Morning," You say back, taking a seat next to George who offers you a small smile but seems too tired to do anything more. Cairo takes the seat next to you, bodily leaning against you with xyr feet propped up on the trunk across from you.
"What's for breakfast," She asks.
Bad shrugs, looking at the food tucked neatly into one bag. "Probably eggs and some berries from the forest. Dream and Sap went foraging maybe 20 minutes ago? They should be back soon."
You gave him a nod as your sister combed down xyr hair with xyrs hand. Cairo blinked over at George, who blinked back. "You're pretty."
George shrugs, "I know."
Cairo nods, turning to talk to Bad. You look over at George, brow raised. The brunet smirks at you, rolling his eyes softly. "I get a lot of compliments. Although I haven't gotten one from you yet."
"Do you want me to tell you something you already know?" You lean closer, until your lips brush past his cheek and your breath heats up his ear. "Sounds likes someone's a little cocky."
When you pulled back, George's cheeks were tinged pink with a deep flush that spread all the way to his ears. You smiled and turned back towards Cairo, who was at Bad's side, poking at the eggs.
"Get away from those before you burn them," You say, nudging her with your foot, even if it was a bit of a stretch. Cairo scoffs, kicking you right back.
"I try doing something nice for you once," She pouts, turning to Bad to get him on xyr side. "I might've burned his tent down but I was trying to be nice for his birthday! It cancels out! Right?"
"Uhm," He looks between the two of you, obviously torn. Slowly, he looks over at George, who offers absoloutely no help, and back at you. Finally, relief bursts over his face. "Dream! Sapnap! You're back!"
"Yeah?" Dream stretched out, eyeing the demon curiously. He turned to George as he got closer, handing off a bag half-full of sweet berries. "Why do you sound so happy?"
"No reason, none at all!" Bad says with a rapid nod of his head. You snicker a bit, trying to hide a grin behind your hand. Cairo turns to you with the same grin, one that catches George's attention, who rolls his eyes with a smile. He turns back around, cheeks flushed. "I can hear you two."
"Whoops," You shrug, moving to make space for Cairo to sit. She takes the seat happily, a plate of eggs that she had definitely stolen from Bad's pan.
"Wha-!" Bad drops down into his seat by the campfire, pouting. "You're all a bunch of muffinheads."
"Muffinfucks," Sapnap mocks in a high-pitched voice.
"Language!" Bad gasps, snatching the bag of apples out of Sapnap's hand, swatting at his arm. Sapnap takes the seat across from you with a sweet smile, waving quickly before Dream sits down.
The voices are oddly quiet today, even as Dream offers you a polite good morning and his face lights up when Sapnap ropes him into talking over sword strategies. It's weird but you won't look a gift horse in the mouth, wrapping an arm around Cairo's shoulders as xyr takes the opportunity to make fun of George.
You pop a few sweet berries in your mouth and relax. You still have to ask Cairo about traveling with the group but something tells you xyr is going to agree.
{《☆》}
After you talked with Cairo and she gladly agreed to travel with the group, it's been interesting to say the least.
Traveling with the "Muffinteers" (their self appointed and very odd name) was nice. Not overly amazing. They managed to rope you into arguments every 5 minutes and Dream still got inbetween you and Sapnap whenever you talked. But it was definitely not your worse experience. It couldn't be that bad with Bad and you bonding over limited medical knowledge and when you teased the group with Cairo's help.
Your voices were a lot quieter around them, which you have yet to decide was good or bad, but they always did agree that the group was good for you. (Also that they were unfairly good looking, which you decidedly agreed with.)
It was almost depressing when you finally arrived at the Antartic Empire, Cairo on Bad's back and George at your side. Sapnap and Dream followed behind you both, carrying most of the luggage after you and George managed to sweet talk them enough. The look on Bad's face when you made a few shameless remarks to Sapnap was enough to make a god laugh.
You set up in a motel for one final night, fixing up the room you had gotten. There was a door connecting you to the Muffinteers room, one that was lockable from both sides (though you were close enough now that it didn't really matter to lock it). Cairo had knocked out on one bed instantly, leaving you on the other, staring at the ceiling in restless focus.
You got up, cringing at how cold the floor was but slowly starting toward the shared door anyway.
When you opened it you came face to face with Bad, who was seemingly just stood in front of the door, contemplating. "Bad?"
He jumped, barely registering that you had opened it. Too lost in thought, apparently. He cleared his throat softly, cheeks flushed an adorable pale white. "Y/N, I didn't know you were awake."
"Couldn't sleep. And you...?"
He clasped his hands together in front of him, hesitating. "I couldn't sleep either. I kinda got used to sleeping near you muffinheads."
Now that he brings it up, you had gotten used to it too. After traveling for weeks together it felt odd not sleeping near at least two other people. Or hearing Sapnap's obnoxious snoring even through the tents. You kept the door propped open, leaning to make room for Bad to walk in. "The bed in my room's pretty big, we could share. Wouldn't do us any good to lose a night's rest, would it."
"True," Bad muttered, face still flushed. Softly you both walked back to your bed, peeling back the blankets. Bad hesitated before lying down, not looking anywhere near your face. "Goodnight."
Shifting your shoulders slightly you melted into the bed. Softly you mutter back, "Goodnight."
{《☆》}
"Whose going to wake them?" Someone whispered.
"I'm not doing it!" Another voice harshly chimed in, quietly yelling.
"Geez you guys are cowards," A third voice said. So many voices talked back and forth around you. You groan, pressing your face into your pillow. It's very warm but not super comfortable, you can't find it in you to care, pressing your cheek into the rising surface.
"Move out of the way," The third voice says and finally they fall quiet. With some shuffling, you can rest without the background noise bugging you.
"WAKE UP!"
You jerk upwards, pushing off your pillow with no resistance. It feels like whiplash how quickly you turn to face your michevous friends with an ever present scowl. "Wha–!"
"What were you muffinheads thinking!" Bad yells next to you. You cringe away, shock flooding your veins before you reel yourself back to the present. Bad looks similarly put off, though he's more focused on scolding the idiotic boys.
Ha the dream team look like pissbabies
Bad's kinda... ya know?
all of us are going to hell
we're already dead dumbass
poor bby sapnap looks like a kicked puppy ;-;
KekW
You look over and Cairo is still dead asleep, not rustled one bit. Turning back, George gives you a wicked grin, ignoring Bad. "Welcome back to the land of the living, sleeping beauty."
"Aw you think I'm pretty," You stretch your arms up, mid-yawn. The group is politely looking away from you, faces pink (or in Bad's case, pale). You try to pretend that it's easy pulling away from Bad's oddly magnetic warmth and smile at Sapnap and Dream. "Morning, did you need something?"
"Not really just... wanted to know if you were coming down for hotel breakfast?" Sapnap says, glancing over at the other two for help. When they offered none he just smiled wider at you to cover his nerves. "I mean,, you're a snack but breakfast is the most important meal of the day."
You roll your eyes with a laugh, the dream team shuffling back as you stand. "Yeah yeah, sure. Lemme just wake Cairo."
{《☆》}
There is a moment when you're standing at the top of the world, flying through the clouds. it usually comes right before the world remembers you need to follow the laws of gravity, a brief second of flightlessness before you're dragged down.
You've been on top of the world since the voices started quieting down. Cairo's been looking happier in the last few weeks than she had been in months. Everything was good. So good in fact, you forgot there'd have to be a fall.
It started after breakfast, you were being dragged by Cairo to a market stand because they were selling socks and she was insistent on having new ones. If you weren't sure that your family in the city would have a room for you, you would've saved it for restocking food.
While you were haggling for a lower price someone bumped into your back. The crowd is full of people and bumping into people while walking isn't uncommon but it's something about this time that made your skin crawl. Voices pounded your head, overlapping with hundreds of different thoughts until one struck gold.
LOOK BACK
You whirled around, foot skidding a bit before you catch yourself. The thief pretends not to notice, they must've thought they got away with it.
RED WOLF
You take a step forward, hands wrapping around a thin pale wrist. You hold even as they twist, realizing you knew. The voices won't let you let go. They look scared out of their wits for a second, pale blue eyes glimmering with tears.
HE IS NEAR
"Y/N?" The thief says hesitantly. "I didn't..."
They don't look familiar to you but your name from their lips, voice smooth and knowable, knocks sense back into your brain and you let go. They reach up to rub at their wrist, Cairo's pink pouch dangling in his fingers.
You reach out to grab it, fingers skimming the fabric before you're thrown to the ground.
ATTACK.
RETREAT.
ATTACK.
RETREAT.
The voices fight in your head, only disorienting you further. Two voices call your name, too muddled in the cacophony that's pounding your ears.
GET UP
The world is blurry, black dots staining your vision. Your fingers dig into dirt as you get yourself on your hands and knees, heaving.
DODGE
You drop your arm and roll to the side, narrowly missing a thin silver blade that cracks the ground where your chest once was. The world shifts again and you're a lot less balanced against the ground than you should be.
RED WOLF. RED. BLOOD. CLAWS. MOVE. BLOOD. RED WOLF. MOVE. TEETH. BITE. RED. SHARP.
MOVE!
You lose feeling in your fingers and kick up your feet, you push off against someone's chest and roll to a kneel. People are talking, screaming maybe, you can't tell when the voices in your head scream louder.
There is a stand next to you selling decorative weapons and you pick up a gold sword. It's pretty shabby, wouldn't last long with actual use, but it's enchanted with sharpness 2. You palm the handle a bit, hands sweatier than they've ever been before.
They're a blur of motion and you raise your sword and blunt their attack with a strangled cry. You can hear Cairo and Sapnap yelling for you. They must have lost you in the commotion. The brief distraction let's your attacker slice a thin line into your shoulder and you kick their leg out, stumbling to get back to Cairo.
When the person who attacks you gets to their feet they follow in second. They manage to whirl you around. Your heart stops for a second, stinging with phantom pains. They huff in place, face stony as it looks over yours. Red eyes meet yours with a knee-buckling lack of recognition.
"Technoblade," You mutter to yourself as a last observation before the world tilts to the side and you crash into the weapon stand.
{《☆》}
"Who the fuck do you think you are you," A voice, familiar British tilt bristling with venom. They're oddly close, smoothly pressing into raw ears. "You were the one that attacked him in the first place. You think you have the right-!"
"George," Bad cuts in, voice just as stone-cold but softer still. He's so close that the water that's been clogging your ears clear just to listen. "Don't be too loud, you'll wake him."
"He's got a point," Dream pipes in, farther away. It makes something in you croon sadly. Soft steps get further away from you before stopping suddenly. "You hurt Y/N. Why would we trust you're being truthful. I mean, cousins? Don't make me laugh."
"I didn't know it was Y/N, I just saw him hurting Tommy and I-"
"Tommy stole from him!" Dream scoffs, voice heavy and loud. It drops suddenly and there are footsteps coming closer until a hand is hovering over yours, hesitating. "You caused this, Blood God."
Things start going fuzzy again and you don't like it. You reach up to Dream's hand and tighten your grip. It's nice, it feels like a tether. Still, you're cold though so you whine. Something to be embarrassed about when you're fully awake, of course. "Co—ld..."
"Aww isn't that adorable," George coos mockingly. His voice gets further away as he walks away, another pair of heavier footsteps seemingly dragged behind him. "Let's go Blood God."
"I'll go get another blanket," Bad says, fixing your two blankets to be tucked around you. You still haven't opened your eyes but you can imagine the look he shoots Dream. "Have fun cuddling."
You can also imagine Dream's response vividly, a roll of those pretty green eyes while his lips tug into a small smile anyway. He doesn't say anything, simply settling in a chair beside you, hand still tight around yours.
"I thought we were gonna cuddle," Your words are a bit loopy as you turn on your side to face him, eyes barely peeking open. The world is a lump of colours and yet you could not see him more clearly.
"Oh come on," Dream scoffs and this time you can see the way he rolls his eyes, freckled cheeks puffing out in embarrassment and exasperation, lips tilted into a thin little smile. You pull your blankets up and gesture to the empty space. He shakes his head but you know he's already broken. With a bit of struggle, he clambers into your bed and retucks the blankets around the both of you.
As he settles into the cozy space, you're both facing each other. Maybe it's the loopiness still messing with your brain but he looks adorable with his hair tousled like this. You can't help yourself from reaching up to touch the fluffy blond strands but Dreams hand reaches for your wrist, holding it gently inches away with flushed cheeks. "What are you doing?"
"You look soft," You mumble and without more preamble reach for his hair again. Miraculously he doesn't stop you this time, a large bridge of blush spread over his nose all the way to his ears. Dream closes his eyes, holding his breathe as you slowly card through his soft hair.
You drag your nails across his scalp lightly and he physically melts, face unfurling with a soft trust like a flower in bloom. You smile, closing your eyes and continuing to run your hand through his hair. You don't remember how, everything feels just a bit disconjointed, but your legs are tangled up with Dream's, one hand resting gently on the back of his neck and the other on his chest. You can feel nothing but warm when he wraps his arms around you, holding you for no reason but he can.
You're still soaking up the touch, lounging across him with a languid body when Sapnap, and Cairo walk in. You peaked your eyes open to see who it was and then went back to resting next to Dream.
"Alright Y/N, we've got you a..." Sapnap's jaw was on the ground, his brain fumbling so hard to remember what he was doing. "Blanket. Got you a blanket."
"Wow Y/N," Cairo says, walking over. You can hear the grin in her voice and so you open your eyes as she steps up to Dream's side of the bed. Xer eyes are puffy and red, cheeks wet with tears. "Never thought I'd see the day you and Dream made up."
Wordlessly you reach out and cup her cheek, cooing at how easily she melts into. Xyr lips tremble softly. Slowly, like she's nervous about speaking, she starts. "Sorry I didn't... You— looked dead. We got there and I thought you..."
"Hey, hey, hey, I'm okay," You shush xyr, brushing soothing lines on xeir cheek. She sniffles heavily, taking a deep breath in. "I'm alive, Cairo. I'll always be here, sweetheart."
"Yeah," She nods after a second. "Sorry just give me a second."
"Sooooo," Sapnap starts in the lull. He lifts the blanket with a bit of effort, showing off the softness. "Blanket or no blanket?"
You roll your eyes, relaxing back into Dreams chest. His arms reflexively tighten and you realize distantly that he's asleep. "Yes, Sapnap. C'mon over."
He seems to bounce over happily, throwing the blanket over the two of you and moving to tuck you guys in.
"Nope," You happily say, grabbing Sapnaps wrist and dragging him over to sit on the bed. You throw a leg over him and his face is already ablaze with a harsh blush. "Cuddle time."
"Wha—dude!" He frowns, looking awfully shy for someone like him. "You're already cuddling with Dream. This bed isn't big enough."
"We'll squeeze in," You say pushing his shoulder down to rest on the bed. When he still doesn't look completely convinced, you pout. "C'mon Sap, you're not really going to tell the injured guy he can't get any cuddles. Please, Sappy."
"Aww okay," He huffs, not looking at your face. "As long as you guys don't mind."
"Just go to bed, Snapmap," Dream groans, turning to hide his face in the back of your neck. You open your arms and Sapnap burrows himself into your chest, mumbling something softly under his breath before he relaxes.
You drift off to sleep again, brain humming in satisfaction.

[I wanted this to be longer but I had to keep the Tumblr line limit in mind ueueueu]
[I spent so long working on this because I procrastinated and hit a major writers block until yesterday. But yes I fit in a bunch of flirting this time, yay, and also managed to fit in the subplot of SBI being your distant family you haven't seen in ages :D.]
[The amount of cuddling in this is because I crave physical contact rn so I'm projecting. Anyway have a great day, have water, eat something, get some good dozing in. I love you all /p!]

I have to say Wildest Wills and No Friends absolutely ruined me in the best ways possible! Although I don’t expect a second part to No Friends, I’m so genuinely curious on what could happen afterwards because betrayal seems to be the only plausible option in Squid Game and I do enjoy myself some angst and romance! I think it’s so incredibly well-written and the speed of each game event flowed well enough for me to grasp at what standpoint they’re at.
I do hope you continue Wildest Wills especially! There’s so much content to work off of from where you left it and I’m just so obsessed with the concept! I liked how they met and I think following them in their journey together would be so incredible to read and see how they grow with each other. I’m such a simp for the Dream Team and Bad! I’m also such a sucker for badass readers wielding swords and kicking ass so I may be a bit biased for this specific work!
I really adore where your going with all your other writings! I haven’t read all of them yet but I’m obsessed enough to know I’ll be speedrunning them soon enough! I don’t know why but I really enjoy your portrayals and the way you depict scenes and characters! I hope you don’t mind the long comment I’m just absolutely wow’d!
So I don't think I'm going to continue No Friends but I will reveal some of my writing thoughts behind it since you're curious!
So it's based off a song with the exact same name. But uh, the nightcore version because... yup.
I had just finished Squid Game at the time and so I was like, yes this is a good idea. And then it was but it was also a lot of work and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
The "ending" I included is 100% fake. No minors were in Squid Game, though certain LManburg adults were. If i had to make an ending, I'm a sucker for angst but I also want happy endings so probably breaking your way out but then one of your sacrificing yourself to save the others.
If I had to decide a concrete ending with no "They all live" endings, Sapnap would be the winner. George would be too weak to survive too long, Dream would be taken down by Wilbur killing both of them, and Sapnap would in the end survive by killing Fundy, who had helped kill George.
So! I'm currently writing a pt 2 to Wildest Wills : Currently unnamed. Not going to spoil it! But! Expect some good old SBI ha ha :)
And omg you are so sweet!!! I really enjoy writing and I'm so glad all of you guys enjoy my writing too!!! Have a great day, you're incredible!!!

💛 Blue Boquets and Brothers

Description: Tommy's been stealing flowers from your garden for weeks. Today though, you finally catch him in the act. (Platonic Tommy x Reader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
Tommy shuffles down the street, dragging his feet across to kick a random stone. It skids just out of reach so he moves on, wrapping his hands around the straps of his backpack in that way movies always depicted nerdy kids. In a way, it fit.
The garden on his way to Wilbur's is empty, devoid of human life like it is every time Tommy walks up to it. The little chain link fence isn't good at keeping out people but he imagines that it had to be good for something since there aren't any dogs chewing on leaves. His foot fits into a hole and he pushes himself on top and jumps a bit to land perfectly.
He bend down, dirt and rips already staining his relatively new pair of jeans. There are blue hyacinths next to a array of purple flowers that he can't name even as he plucks a few of both.
Tying them together with a strand of blue ribbon, he carefully puts them in his backpack. Throwing it over his shoulder, reaching back awkwardly to fit it over his other, something rattles the door to the garden and Tommy throws himself forward to climb the fence. Too late, he thinks as someone's hand wraps around his ankle. "Let go—!"
"Not until you come down!" You yell back, tired lines under your eyes. You were waiting for him, he realizes. "You're going to break your leg trying to jump!"
"Then let go!" He tugs at his leg but for just a moment he loses balance and gives up on his pants to curl his fingers around the metal tug himself up. In his panic he kicked you in the face. Good, he thinks vindictively.
You tug harder and Tommy is wailing as his arms reach out to stop the impact. His palms burn, arms aching with the impact still ringing in his bones.
"Shit kid," You had jumped back when he fell but now you're kneeling at his side, face twisted like it's torn between helping or not. Tommy doesn't even care, instantly scrambling to make sure the flowers in his backpack are safe. To his great relief, the flower petals are only slightly smushed.
"Just go away," Tommy says, pulling his backpack to his chest, watching you with narrowed eyes. "I haven't been doing anything wrong."
"You've been stealing my flowers," You chide softly, frowning as you stood up. Taking him in for a second, you sigh, putting out a hand to help him stand. "Alright, let's go then."
"What?" Tommy knows his face probably looks like he bit a lemon but honestly it's a fair reaction. "Uh?"
"I want to make sure the girl is pretty enough to warrant flower theft." You say, crossing your arms when Tommy stand on his own. He puts his arm through the backpack strap slowly, staring down at his shoes. This is a... fairly odd situation he's in now.
"I have a feeling you won't let me leave if I don't bring you with me," Tommy says, grimacing at your determined nod. This was going to be awkward. He's never really brought anyone to see Wilbur before, not besides Tubbo and Ranboo. "Alright, let's go then."
You unlock the gate, pulling a key out of your pocket like you knew Tommy would break. Together, and that is such an odd thought, you start walking. You're a few paces ahead even though Tommy's supposed to be leading but he's too busy holding the flowers gingerly, careful not to knock any petals off, to care where you are.
"So," You start, probably uncomfortable in the silence that had been following you both. "What's her name?"
"His name is Wilbur," Tommy awkwardly starts, unsure of how to broach the fact that they're definitely not dating.
"That's a nice name," You say without skipping a beat. Not homophobic then, that's nice. "Does he like those flowers or did you pick at random?"
"Hyacinths were his favourite but I always bring him blue so I thought purple would shake things up," Tommy shrugs, glancing up at your approving look before scowling down at his flowers. Well, technically yours but— doesn't matter they're his now.
"Those are lavender," You slow down next to him, pointing at the pretty flowers that wrap around the hyacinths. "But you also have a few small alliums. They're the circle ones, right there."
"They're pretty," Tommy says softly and now that he's thinking the allium is kinda familiar. Ranboo had given him one when they first met. He had it pressed between a book somewhere. "I'm sure Wil's gonna like them."
"Do you bring him flowers every weel?" You ask, side-by-side. looking over the bouquet.
Tommy nods because he always takes flowers from your garden so you probably already knew. "II like to keep him looking nice. If he's surrounded by dead flowers it just gets sad."
You tilt your head in confusion but shrug. it goes silent for a minute before Tommy sees large metal gates., pulled open wide and ever-daunting. "Ready to meet him?"
"We're at a graveyard." You bring up, skittish like Tommy can't tell where he is. You do look pretty disgruntled though so Tommy doesn't take it to heart. "do you and Wil hang around graveyards often?"
Tommy just wordlessly guides you along, hearing leaves crunch as you slowly follow. In a few minutes of silence, minutes you try to fill by asking questions that Tommy can't answer. Then you are standing by a polished grave and Tommy plucks a few offending weeds off the carved stone. pulling the wilting flowers out of the glass vase and replacing them with the new ones, making sure the ribbon stays on nice and pretty.
"Oh," You say and when Tommy looks back at you, you're lips are pressed together into a tight line, brows furrowed with tension. "I didn't realize..."
He shrugs, wordlessly turning back to Wil. "Hey Wil, this is Y/N, I've been stealing flowers from their garden for you. They're... alright, I suppose. I think you two would've gotten along, probably."
"Hello Wilbur," You start slowly, moving to kneel down next to Tommy. "I meet Tommy like 20 minutes ago but I've already gotten tired of him." Tommy rolls his eyes with a smile. "Tommy told me you liked Hyacinths, they're nice flowers. You have good taste."
"I still think the alliums are better," Tommy chimed in, leaning forward to brush a hand against the stone. He softens his words, speaking quietly to the heaviness in the air that haunts him. "But I guess you do have pretty good taste."
You put a hand on Tommy's shoulder, squeezing with a silent apology. He nods, feeling slightly choked. After Wilbur's death, the whole family took it hard. Phil started putting crazy hours into working, Technoblade went on another fencing tour (which he hasn't done in years), and at this point, Tommy's the only one who lives in the empty two-story house. Until you joined him, he can say with certainty that he was the only one who visited Wilbur. No one's held him since it happened, not until your slightly awkward one-arm hold on his shoulder, comfort and burn.
"Two weeks," You say and Tommy turns to you, slightly confused. "That's how long you've been stealing flowers from me, two weeks. Is that...?"
"Yeah," Tommy says and this time his voice is watery. God, he should've just told you to fuck off. Now he's going to look like a mess. "I try to visit him every day. I don't want him to feel lonely without me or some shit."
"You're a good kid," You say, rubbing a circle into his shoulder. You look back at the flowers and grimace, "I'd like it if you didn't steal my flowers but I'm not going to report anything. Not to your parents or the police. It can be our secret."
"He would've liked you," Tommy says before he can stop himself. His ears burn and it's not just with the cold. "You're a good person and... Wilbur would probably be in love with your garden."
"If he's anything like you, I'd probably like him too." You look over at him, probably spotting his embarrassed flush. You stand, holding a hand out to help him and he takes it. "It's pretty cold out, kid. Let's go get some hot cocoa, my treat."
"Okay," He says and it's with a relief he can't understand. "Goodbye Wil."

❤ Shampoo Shopping
[1200+ words]
(He/him pronouns)
Description: You're running out of Shampoo when someone collapses in the same aisle. Who knew they were going to be pretty? (George x Reader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
You stare at the white bottle, the tiny black words practically blind to you. When was the last time you went shopping? It was an abhorrent thought because ew, social interaction. But sadly, because of your isolation, you've lost all skill at shopping.
You're just standing there,, considering the benefits of a classic Dove shampoo. It's not 2 in 1, so it's probably fine. You throw it in your trolley and head off towards conditioners.
The bottles are all so colourful over here, you noticed almost instantly. You don't have much time to notice, though. Not when a fellow shopper at Tesco's suddenly collapses. Their head bounces off the wall as they start sliding down, trolley bumping into yours.
You blink. "Uh...?" Hesitantly walking over, you poke the man in the arm. They move slightly, to your utter relief. You can't imagine what you would've done if they had just died. That would not have looked good to be caught poking a dead body.
"Sir?" You try, to no result. They are limp, their cart a few feet away from them. Slowly, you reach over and pull their head onto your lap so you can check them over.
There isn't any blood that you can find, sifting your fingers around his scalp. So it's likely just gonna be a heavy headache. You still take a second to brush a finger over the area as a sort of condolence. They shift under your hands, pressing themselves closer to the hand.
Wow. They seem almost as touch starved as you.
You pull your hand away from their fluffy brown hair and consider ways to wake someone. You saw once on the American Office that Dwight held the nose and mouth closed to wake someone up. You also experienced it once when your delightful sister tested it on you.
Maybe not then.
Luckily, or maybe unluckily, you didn't have to think much longer when your sleeping beauty slowly blinked. You almost thought you heard then mumble pretty before your situation registered.
"What the–!" You flinched away as they scrambled back. "Who are you–!"
"Er, Y/N? I'm sorry it's just, you had collapsed and– and, I dunno?" You flailed awkwardly. They nodded along, just as awkwardly. Their pretty eyes were slightly teary as they rubbed at the back of their head. "Are–, you okay?"
"Uh, yeah. I'm just–, well, colourblind so–, uh..." They grimace at their own odd explanation. "My eyes are sensitive and it doesn't usually make me pass out but today was just unlucky."
You wince. You couldn't imagine how hard that must be. Your cousin dealt with minor colourblindness, but never to the extent of passing out. You never even knew it could get that bad.
"Well, I'm glad you're okay, uh–?" You flustered yourself, realizing you don't even know their name. "... mate?"
They blinked at you for a second before bursting into laughter. You couldn't contain your own laugh, feeling oddly charmed by the stranger.
"My name is George." They give you a small grin, which lights up their face. You give a small, flustered squeak to which they thankfully ignore.
"I'm glad you're okay, George."
"Thank you for, well, trying to help," George awkwardly laughed. "Sorry you had to see me like that though."
"Oh no! You're fine. I mean, who wouldn't help?" You fiddled with a loose thread on your sweater.
The pretty brunet shook his head, "Still, thanks."
"I mean," You licked your strangely dry lips. Now wasn't a good time to look half-dead, you realized. "I get that this might be awkward and you can totally say no but—, uh, can I get your nunber?"
George flushed red, turning their face away. "S–sure."
{《☆》}
"Are you still thinking about Shampoo Boy?" Your sister asked, leaning against her palm. She was talking on the phone with one of her friend's cousins as she made dinner, but it seems she caught onto your moping.
"I don't know what to say." You bemoaned. Life is so unfair. Why did all your braincells have to die with your social skills. "What did you say to get your boyfriend?"
Your question was towards Sam's phone, which hummed for a second. Sam handed it off to you, excusing herself to grab a cup of water.
"Well, when I realized I liked Jackie I just talked to him. Like a normal person."
"Oh God, you're useless." You cry, hiding your face in your arms. "I can't just talk to him. You don't get it! George is so pretty and– agh—!"
Sam raised an unamused brow, the empty cup still dripping lonely drops of water. "Are you done? Good, you were getting annoying."
"I hate you," You absoloutely mean your words. Sulking to your room, you frowned at your phone. George's contact was saved under "George ❤" and yet you couldn't find the confidence to actually text him anything. Why was existing so hard?
You lean back on your bed, teasing your lip between your teeth. Chewing on it as you started drafting a message. Immediately, you deleted it all. And started writing again, and deleted again, and writing again.
Curse stupid, stupid social anxiety. Locking you into a stalemate of not wanting to say too much and not wanting to say too little. You've technically had a mini text already. So that George actually had your number you sent it to him there with your name and a compliment, your sister always said that everyone loved compliments.
He responded back after giving you the goofiest smile. A simple hi but with your own special compliment.
Maybe you could compliment him again. He had good fashion taste, maybe you could compliment his sweater. Or would that be too weird? Agh!
Your solace came from someone you least expected.
George. Your screen bubbled up with "..."s as George started writing something horribly long. You waited, clutching your phone between both hands.
Hi!
I hope you're not busy but I just wanted to thank you again for helping me ba
Back at the store*
Sent too early
I'm sorry
You pull your phone close to your neck, pressing the top to your lips in a silent panic. How badly you want to kick your feet and squeal like a kid with a crush. Okay, Step 1) Answer him like a normal person. Step 2) ... marriage? Step 3) Profit.
Totally reasonable and not at all made up on the spot.
Youre absoloutely fine
No need to apolgize* not like youre fine fine
Well you are good looking but I wasnt
I'm going to stop now
Thanks I think?
And uhm

hii! no hate, just question, i keep seeing one of your fic in the “#mcyt x reader” recents tag. more specifically the “Distance (Wilbur Soot x M!Reader)” and saw you reposting the same at least twice a your acc, just wondering why because if its too gain more reach, i think you just need to post it once w/o doing it more than once, anyways, thanks!! (sorry if this sounded aggressive!! ;v;)
(suggestion, if its an announcement that you made a new chapter, i suggest you make it a masterlist which your followers can just like and whenever you make a new chapter, you could just edit it! :>)
Hi! Don't worry this very much isn't aggressive!
Now I post updates (with the tags) both for reach and for just general announcements.
The reason I make separate posts + not one singular masterlist is because of 1) the way Tumblr reach works and 2) not everyone wants to do that much work (even if it may not seem like a lot)
Now Tumblr reach means that unless your post gets enough traction to qualify as a Top Post in the tag, it will inevitably be lost to more recent posts. And even if it does become a Top Post, it will also inevitably be switched with a new post one day. And as someone who doesn't go through tags everyday to check, older-new posts tend to be lost to me unless I take time to backlog to where I had been the last time I checked (which doesn't happen often).
This is also due halfway to me not bothering to follow many people (partly my social anxiety for existing), which means I don't get follower post notifications.
And it is also a sort of way to update for every chapter going out. This is for a multitude of reasons, one being that some people may not have a wattpad account to get update notifs which means unless they remember to check, they'll miss posts.
I have struggled over whether it's okay for me to keep posting the same stuff in the same tags for a while, especially since some tags are slow to update/lacking in content. I've thought of simply keeping it to Wattpad and/or possibly making untagged update posts on my alt but again, I'm unsure if it'd reach the same amount of people (especially since I have less followers on my alt compared to my main)
Though I'm not against deleting my update posts here if it's an issue, I would like more opinions on this if possible!
Sorry for the rant, have a great day/night anon!

Hello!! I was curious to know if you were planning on creating a part two to wildest wills?? It’s an awesome fic and I’d love to see more with it!
I am planning on creating a part two! It's currently what I'm working on but I do have a bit of a request list piling up so I'm going to list the order for anyone curious.
1. Pt2 to Wildest Wills
2. Karl x MReader
3. Pt2 to Bloody Lovers
4. Pt3 (final part) to King Eret x Soldier Reader
5. Pt2 to Sweet Summer Suns
6. George x M!Reader
7. Pt2 to Little Rebel Prince
If possible, and you can ignore this but continue the prince eret x little brother series. It would be so cool! But no pressure or anything :)
I am planning on continuing it, dw! It's just that I have a bit of a request list at the moment so it will be a bit before I can work on yours. Have a great day/night!
💜 Trouble's A Coming
Request by @ -KIYOORIN on wattpad: "Purpled x male reader where reader find out quackity blow up purpled’s ufo and decided to comfort him (i have watch the full thing on purpled's lore so yeah sorry:"))"
(700+ words)
(He/him pronouns)
Description: Quackity fucks up and there seems to be a theme with minors following in their gaslighters footsteps.
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
"Take the gamble, Purpled," Quackity said, hand outstretched. His lips were spread unnaturally, half of his face twitching, scarred skin pulled at but still barely moving. "Take the gamble and you can change everything ."
"You know where to find me!" Quackity screams when he turns and walks away. Purpled's suit is dripping wet as thunder strikes something close by. "You know where I am Purpled!"
He chewed at his lips, trying to ignore the trembling in his hands. Maybe it was a bad coping method (or whatever Puffy called them) but Purpled's hand ached to burn away the anger and his sword was the easiest way to do that.
And his vision blurred together. Flashes of vague recognizance of his surrounds before they melted away into raw fury. Sounds clattering around his head for a while after they happened. It could've been hours or days before he opened his eyes again and saw.
His hands were bloody, aching and raw. There was gunpowder and silk and rotting blood dripping off his palms, his sword was coated in so much more.
Now, emotions raw after having his obsidian thick anger peeled away, he trembled and hiccups. Purpled didn't feel care much for his legacy, his legacy didn't matter to him, but the ufo... it was his way home. He could make another but it'd take months and without the right resources it'd never make it off planet. He was screwed, stuck on a shitty green and blue planet that rotated a fucking sun.
If he could get angry, he would. Tears welled up behind his eyes and he wanted to slam his fists into the trees.
"Purpled?" Someone called out. He didn't want to look, didn't want them to see the mess he made of himself. Gentle hands touched his shoulder and he jerked away, whirling to face them.
You stood there, lips pressed together into a frown. Eyes wide, you veered a bit closer, close enough for Purpled to hear the way your breathing stopped. "Oh Purpled..."
"Don't talk to me like that," he said, heart pounding in his chest. He slapped your hand away, wiping at his face. "I'm fine."
"You don't look fine," You said, glancing over at his sword, edges dull and coated in blood. You look back up and your face is full of softness and concern. It makes his stomach turn. "You don't have to tell me anything. Just let me heal you up. Please,"
"Okay," he murmured, unable to meet your eyes. He felt... bad about everything right now but you didn't deserve to feel bad too. He sat on the ground legs stretched out in front of him.
You sat by his side, already swirling a healing pot in hand. You reach up and touch a scratch and even your careful hands make Purpled hiss in pain. "You really got fucked up this time, huh?"
It's a subtler question than last time, a small prod to see if he's willing to talk. And it's a mixture of guilt and tears that spill from his mouth when he wordlessly agrees. "Quackity blew up my ufo."
The kindness melts from your expression, lips twisted into a frown. "He did what?" You poured a bit of healing on a rag and started wiping at his face, like a parent would to a child with food on their face. "I swear if I ever see that man,"
Purpled shook his head, a small smile on his face at the idea. You cared a lot for a lot of people and yet he still found it crazy that you cared. "I've got it handled, (Y/N). Don't worry."
"I know you do, you're strong," You sighed. You put the rag down, reaching up to trace now smooth skin, cradling his cheek in your palm. "I'm still here for you. No matter what."
"I know you are," He said right back at you, smiling softly.
He reaches up, fingers lightly hovering over yours before he relaxes back. In a spur of the moment decision, he relaxes enough for his antennaes to pop out of his hair, glowing a dim purple. It's a sign of trust on his home planet but the thought makes his heart burn.
"They're very pretty," You say, moving to throw your legs over his lap. It doesn't even seem to bother your alien friend, who just moves his legs a bit before closing his eyes, head resting back against a tree. You pour more healing potion and wiped away the rest of the blood.
As the sun starts rising, you lay asleep with your legs tangled together.

[This gave a lot more relationship vibes than intended. Up to interpretation I suppose.]

❤ Bad Boy (Cute Boy)
Request by @ -KIYOORIN on Wattpad: "Wilbur x male reader but highschool au, where wilbur has a crush on reader and he is trying to asked out reader to go to the prom with him."
[2069 words :3]
[He/him]
Description: Wilbur is a hopeless romantic and Tommy likes to eat dirt. (Wilbur x MReader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
Wilbur picks at the dirt under his fingers as he sits through math class. His math teacher doesn't try to get him not to, even though he's the weird type. Tries too hard, acts too odd, calls tests 'festivals of learning'. Honestly, he kind of regrets doing this exchange program just because of that.
Well, not really. Wilbur likes this odd school, even if it's kinda fucked up. It has good music programs and he has a lot of good friends, a surprising amount of them British as well. And well... he maybe, sort of, kind of but not really, has a crush.
Wilburs face flushes just thinking about it. He ducks his head lower and picks his pencil up to pretend he's doing his work instead of daydreaming.
He glances over at you, doodling something one the margins of your math book with a small smile you probably didn't even realize you had. Wilbur sighed deeply, unable to look away as you fiddled with the pencil, almost dropping it. God, he thought you were gorgeous.
You looked up briefly and Wilbur panicked and snapped his head back down. He waited a few minutes, actually starting his math problems before he chanced a glance up. You were back to drawing and he relaxed with a relieved sigh. And then you looked back up again.
{《☆》}
Wilbur didn't know which God he had to thank that day but you didn't seem weirded out. In fact, you smiled at him in the hall earlier and almost made him have a heart attack. Wilbur hid his blushing face in his hands for a second, ignoring the conversation Fundy and Eret were having next to him.
"Are you good, Wil?" Niki asked, her lunch laid out neatly in front of her. She brushed her hand over his shoulder. "You look kind of red."
"I'm fine," he squeaked out, patting her hand before trying to shake it off. "Sorry, I'm good."
"He's having a breakdown because (Y/N) smiled at him earlier," Technoblade, the prick, says with no hint of remorse.
Wilbur scowls at him, kicking his leg under the table. "Shut it."
"Aww," Fundy coos mockingly, with a faked high-pitch British accent. "The fish fucker is in love."
"Not you too," Wilbur groans, flicking a bit of corn at the ginger.
"I think it's sweet how much you like him," Eret said, the only one Wilbur respected anymore. He picked up a piece of celery and talked while he chewed, "Even if it's just made you a bigger simp."
"I'm leaving," Wilbur says with a scowl, picking up his tray. He doesn't usually eat much during lunch anyways but the conversation made him lose the rest of his appetite. But, of course, the universe hated him.
Wilbur slammed into someone, sending corn all over himself, ruining his freshly washed navy jumper. "Just great, can you–,"
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," You said, reeling back. Your own lunch was tipped over the try, pouring out but somehow managing not to stain your clothes. "I didn't mean to! I'm so sorry."
"It's fine, you're good" He managed to say through a strangled throat. He set the empty tray on an empty table and started brushing corn off of his sweater, which stuck to it with a grudge.
"Here," You said, coming back when Wilbur didn't even notice you left. In your hand was a bunch of clumped up napkins that you very quickly shoved in his hands, shifting feet nervously. After a second of Wilbur rubbing corn off of his sweater, your face falls when you realize just how stained it was. "Oh no, your sweater. I ruined it."
"It's okay, I was- I was going to donate it anyway," He fumbled over his words, lying because, well, you were you. Grimacing a bit, he powered through. "It's not the best thing to wear for the rest of the day but it'll make do."
You seemed dejected either way. "I can go put your tray back for you?"
"You're fine, really. It was an accident," Wilbur assured you it was, dropping the messy napkins on his tray. Patting his sweater and grimacing at the way it was still wet. "I'll just go,"
"Wait," You blurted out, hands raised in a minor panic. A sudden thought rang in your brain and you quickly reached for your backpack. In your hands was a plain yellow sweater, one that looked (way too big/perfect/a bit small) for your size and something that would fit Wilbur well enough to last the day. "I had a backup sweater in my backpack and since I kinda ruined yours, I think it's only fair you use it."
Wilbur hesitated, shaking his head. "No it's fine, really."
"Please," You practically begged, giving Wilbur the sweetest puppy dog eyes he's ever seen. "I feel so bad. It's no trouble."
"Alright," He muttered, ducking his head but unable to hide the bright pink flush that spread across his face. He pulls the navy jumper off, careful not the touch the wet spot to his face.
You were looking away (if pale: face flushed), obviously embarrassed. Wilbur quickly realized that the shirt he wore under the jumper had ridden up, pulling it down sheepishly. Taking the sweater, he ran his hand down the soft cotton fabric. "Thanks."
"No problem," You shook your head, looking back at him. Shooting him a smile, you finally stepped back and let him walk to put his tray away.
Wilbur was left in such a daze, he hardly even registered the teasing his friends gave him when he sat back down.
{《☆》}
Prom was coming up and Wilbur had totally forgotten. He sat at his desk, staring at the pair of tickets his friend had given him on a whim, saying something had come up but that he should still enjoy prom with his boyfriend.
Boyfriend.
Because yeah, people have started being under the assumption that Wilbur had manned up and asked you out. Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous. Wilbur groaned, hands wrapping tight around the yellow sweater he was still wearing, still had. He had tried giving it back once but the teacher had decided that day was going to be their first-ever pop quiz and he had to sit back down.
He had worn it yesterday, fiddling with the nice sleeves that wrapped around his wrist loosely enough to pinch the fabric under and twist it. But something about realizing the weight of the next week, the last week he had until prom came and he'd be forced to go alone.
Wilbur was screwed. He had a week to ask you out, likely get rejected, and then spend the night at prom depressed while his friends had fun. Just the idea of going made him queasy.
His door was knocked on rapidly. "Wilby! Wil! Wil! Open the door!" Tommy screeched from the other side, waiting for permission before he jumped onto Wilbur's bed.
"You can come in," He said, moving to sweep the tickets into a drawer, hand still caught tight on the sweater.
"Wilby!" Tommy says, clambering in with his blankie trailing behind him, the cow plush Wilur had bought him held tightly in his little fist. "I did the big tree thing. I went to Tubbo's house and he has such a big tree and I know that you and baba climb the tr-un-k so I had Tubbo help me, because it's so tall! And he did! And I got to hold the small tree and there was this bug and-!"
"Tommy, why aren't you playing with Phil," Wilbur asked, turning away from his desk to open his arms wide at Tommy. His baby brother leaped off the bed, landing in his arms and giggling.
"Phil was being mean again," Tommy pouted, curled into Wilburs chest. "He told me to go play with you instead."
He frowned, but then smoothed it out. "Thank you for telling me, Tommy. And thank you for following the rules and knocking."
"I'm very smart, aren't I Wilby!" Tommy giggled again, kicking his feet out. Wilbur bounced his knee a bit, nodding. "When is Baba getting home. He said I couldn't play with his sword until he gets here and I'm bored."
"He's still at work, Toms, but how about we go play outside instead." Wilbur smiled down at the 8-year-old, pinching Tommy's button nose between his fingers.
"Okay Wilby!" Tommy said, dragging the teen with him. Wilbur didn't know how lucky he had to have been to get an exchange home that'd give him his own brother.
Tommy set down Henry neatly next to him before he started digging his fingers into the dirt. Wilbur picked up his blankie and made extra sure it was safe from dirt on the seat he laid it on. He sat down by Tommy, pulling his arms away whenever he tried to eat dirt.
"Oh, it's you," A pleasent voice said from not so far away. Wilbur looks up and sees you standing there, holding a leash tightly, a dog standing by your legs. "I didn't know you lived here."
"I'm part of an exchange program, the Minecrafts are my host family," Wilbur said, rushing to stand. Tommy, ever the loud mouth around family, is tucked behind his leg, bright gold curls barely peeking out. You take a small step closer and Wilbur's face starts turning red. "Uh, this is Tommy."
"Hello Tommy," You say, kneeling to be on even ground. The blond mutters a small "hi", still clutching Wilbur's pants but shuffled more into view. You stick your hand out, wearing the prettiest smile Wilbur has ever seen. "It's lovely to meet you."
Tommy's hands look so tiny in yours but he seems so happy to be doing something familiar. Phil's had him do similar around his buisness friends. Predictably, your dog rounds your legs, nudging Tommy. He giggles, gasping with an infatuation with animals in the way only Tommy could have.
"That's Kujo, he's really friendly," You say and Tommy turns to you, eyes turning into melted clouds.
"Can I play with him? Please," He asks, bottom lip jutted out into a plead. Wilburs heart softens and you melt at the sight of his little brother. You carefully hand him the leash, saying that Kujo knows better than to run but if he does try, it's okay if he let's go. When Tommy heads off, ever so gentle with guiding Kujo, you stand and smile at him.
"Is your sweater okay?" You ask out of the blue. Wilbur glances down at what he's wearing before processing the words.
Face flushed, he nods. "It took a few washes but it doesn't smell like corn anymore, so..."
"I'm glad," You smile easily, not minding him trailing off. "I've dumped food on myself more than once and it's horrible to get off. I have a sweater at home where the sleeve still smell like milk."
Wilbur laughs, feeling as though he's floating on air. It wasn't even the funniest joke in existence but Wilbur is sure he could never laugh harder, warmth bubbling up in his chest. "That sounds horrid. Although I once managed to burn the fur off a coat once."
"No," You gasped, reaching up to cover your smile with your hand. "An arsonist is here, in my neighborhood. For shame."
Wilbur doesn't know what confidence overcame him but he quirks his lips into a wicked grin, "That's not the worst I've done."
"Oh? Aren't you Mr. Bad boy?" You say with a chuckle.
Again, it comes out without thinking. "Depends, do you like bad boys?" His cheeks flush instantly, hands curling up as he almost dies of embarrassment.
You raise a brow, lips curled into a smile. "I like cute boys that look cuter in my sweaters."
It takes him a second for it to process, his ears the brightest shade of red in just a second. "Ah well," he fiddles with the hem of his sweater. "I mean, uh... Are you going to prom?"
"I haven't been asked yet," You look over at Tommy, stting down and digging with Kujo helping. "But I think I'd like to go."
"Well, I—, do you wanna...," Wilbur grimaces, taking a second to breathe. "Would you like to go to prom with me?"
You positively beam at him, "I would love to."

Description: In the lovely demon kingdom of Ouphara, you and your twin flame cause some minor chaos with the humans he had brought with him. (Badboyhalo x Reader)

Anna walks up to you as you try gently cajoling Sapnap into eating more, something more culturally important to you. He had said that he enjoyed spices and your people knew nothing better than spices.
"(Y/N)" She says, walking up in front of you. Her dress trails slightly behind her, her wings tucked towards his back with a practised ignorance to it. "Who is this human?"
"I'm Sapnap," Your nestling says, brows furrowed with a slightly disturbed expression. It seems he didn't like her asking you instead of him. "This is my pater,"
"Hm?" Anna asks, lips pressed together thinly. It seems she wasn't expecting that answer. But it also seemed she didn't understand what he meant by 'pater'. "(Y/N) is your...?"
"He is Bad's child, they share their flames," You say excitedly, proudly putting your hand on his shoulder. Sapnap leans toward you, exhaling the anger from their chest slowly. "Which means he is my nestling as well."
"Oh!" Anna says, a surprised but gentle smile on her lips. Your sister hasn't met her twin flame yet, a fact that the council never failed to pick at. It's what made them so biased towards you, even if your sister was the rightful heir to the throne. But she wanted to meet her twin flame badly. As young growing flames, she had constantly promised she'd be like your parents and grow up to have a beautiful, strong flame. "It's lovely to meet you, young flame."
"Sapnap, this is my sister," You smile at him, glancing over at Bad who's slowly stepping closer. Sapnap blinks in surprise before he smiles too. "Hi! Nice to meet you!"
"Anna," Bad nods to her as he step up into your side, sliding his fingers into yours. Sapnap steps closer to you again, relaxing into the warmth you provide almost without realizing. "It's been a while,"
"It has," Anna says with a slightly more rotten grin. They always had gotten along like a house on fire. You were left to play the cat abandoned in the house. "I'm expecting a good fight soon. One-on-one."
"You're on," He grins right back, just as sharp at the edges. You sigh, all to used to how heated they got in their arguments. Never violent though, not without something to prompt it. Sapnap is now fully leaning his head on your arm. Honestly, humans are so very tiny. it was kinda adorable. "I'm looking froward to beating you."
"You can try," She says, brushing some hair back. As she finishes her words, someone comes up to wisk her off for a private talk. it was nice talking to her for however short, usually her responsibilities to the party kept her busy the entire night and you were left to talk up whoever was left.
"What now?" Sapnap asks, fiddling with a part of your wing. You tuck him into it a bit more, looking around for the humans you had met. They were scattered around the room, the youngest ones picking at the food presented on the tables. Dream and George were talking to one of the lesser Nephilim, Wilbur and the two people he dragged with him chatting up many different people.
"Well, we will be meeting Anna after this dinner ends, but until then we can have something other than a snack," You try convincing Sapnap to eat, remembering Bad telling you he hadn't eaten. He wrinkles his nose a bit but shrugs, pulling himself away slowly.
You offer to carry him to help him find food easier but he instantly argues that you were too tall and should shrink. Albeit reluctantly, you do. Bad joins you and the two of you are relatively human-sized now, though you still manage to be taller than both of them. You keep your wings stretched over Sapnap, resting your head on Bad's shoulder as you simply watch your nestling.
"He's truly ours, isn't he," You murmur softly, smiling as Sapnap tries shoving a fork full of food in his mouth before gagging. "I'm kind of amazed."
"He looks stupid," Bad laughs softly, softening as he looks at the coughing mess of a human. "But he is our kid. Ours."
"Salyrn would be freezing if she were here right now," You chew the inside of your mouth as you remember your growing flame days. Salyrn had been a very religious demon, one of the people still following the old gods, and she had the impression your relationship was cursed. Unluckily she had met a few flames like her and your school days were history. "I think I'd kill her if she tried anything to our flame."
"So would I, for any of them," Bad casts a look at every human that he had come with. Part of you understand, a small part of you is already attached to the odd group of humans. The other part is even worse, torn between being possessive over them and being angry, knowing they were what kept Bad from you for so long. But it melts away, you have eternity together.
You turn to Bad, knocking your heads together softly. He smiles but pushes your face away with a small off-white blush.
"I'm very lucky to have you" You remind him softly. He smiles and places a gentle kiss on your nose. You reach up to squeeze his nose between your fingers, booping it softly after.
"Really, while I'm eating!" Sapnap groans, pointing his fork right at the two of you. "No lovey-dovey stuff while food is present."
"Aww, sappy's feeling neglected," Bad teases, pulling Sapnap's chair closer to wrap an arm around his shoulder and tug him close. Your nestling grumbles, the fork abandoned on his plate as he rest his cheek against Bad's shoulder. You reach over to brush hair out of his face, purring softly as he melts into your hands.
"I hate both of you," he grumbles, fixing himself to get more comfortable. "I'm going to leave."
"Sure," You coo, brushing back their hair. You share a knowing smile with Bad, heart-melting as the human hums in appreciation. You've never really liked humans but Sapnap is your nestling and he's so tiny and sweet! "But if you opened your eyes first, that'd be more convincing."
His eyes snap open and he glares at you half-heartedly. Bad stifles his giggles into Sapnap's hair, glancing up at you and breaking out into another spree of giggles. Sapnap reaches up to wack Bad away, pulling away with a scowl. "I'm going to tell Dream you're bullying me."
"Sure, pandas," Bad rolled his eyes, smiling softly as Sapnap stretched and walked off. You leaned into him, feeling just as sappy. His eyes glance down at you and he presses his cheek to your shoulder before he sat up straighter. "We should eat a bit before it gets too late. I know we didn't have many snacks so our dinner shouldn't be too ruined."
"I suppose," You pull away, fixing your plate to be straightened up on the table. Instantly, with just a thought, your food appears. Magic has its privilege and that is instant-dream food.

"It's been a while since we last fought," Anna calls loudly, her sword twisted in her grip. It's a sleek blade of gold, thought lightly enchanted since this is an honourable duel. You've recently been in the development of layering gold with spare netherite, testing to see if the metal has any use besides construction material. You've heard tales from the humans world that netherite over diamond weapons can create a weapon stronger than anything created before. Your sister is supposed to get the first successful weapon, and you the second.
"I've missed beating you to the ground," Bad says, twisting his shoulder with a wicked grin. He always gets so competitive with sword fighting, especially against Anna. In his own claws, a glittering gold sword carved with runes more for ornamental use than fighting, but multi-purposeful all the same,
She scoffs, circling the grounds around him. "If I recall correctly, I'm currently beating you."
"Barely, you had to have (Y/N) distract me last time." He rolls his eyes and then he lunges. With skilled ease, a graceful leap, they move almost in sync. Anna twists to dodge him, pushing his sword away with a strong jab. He twirls back and dodges her sword in a split second and you gasp with delight.
"Whoo! Go Dad!" Sapnap cheers beside you. The humans and a few other stragglers are on the side lines, watching and occasionally cheering. Your kind aren't the biggest on violent entertainment but on an annual festival, your sister always fights. She is skilled with the blade, more so than she is with magic, and her skill is spoken of with unsupressed compliments, a common spoken legend. You've gotten used to it, living with her competitiveness for years has desensitized you to it.
The humans however...
"Oh shit!" Tommy screams with a wide grin. He tugs on Tubbo's arm. "Did you see that!"
You laugh at them, not bothering to smother it. Ranboo's tail curls up around your arm as he cheers for Bad. You smooth out part if his shoulder as you pat his shoulder.
Technoblade, Phil, and Wilbur all sit together on the stands, casually narrating their own thoughts to one another. A few times Technoblade leaned forward, met Bad's eye and shivered. It was adorable how scared they could be of someone so tiny.
"So close," Your sister grit out, taunting tilt, she took in a deep breath as they jumped away from one another. "I almost had you down."
"Not close enough," Bad says with amusement bleeding into his words, adrenaline keeping his on his toes. "In fact,"
He heaves as he swings and his sword slams into Anna's side. She goes flying back, skidding and holding herself up with her hand. It's easy for Bad to disarm her as she focuses on jumping back and standing in a safer position.
She cracks her knuckles, fixing her jaw straight in determination. "Now you're fighting." She leaps forward and tries to grapple the sword out of his hands.
Bad obviously has the upper hands with his sword still firmly in his hands but quickly the sword flickers with his flame, blue and bright spreading across the edges. The runes shine a bright purple and Anna is blasted back with a burst of his flames.
The spell is strong enough that wisps of them push up against your arm, harmless to you and Sapnap but it brings a sinking realization that none of the humans behind you share the same benefit.
Your flames, glowing white and fluxating, burst from your arms and cause a massive divide between the flames and the bystanders. You wait for a second before pulling it back. Sapnap's bandana is smoking at the edges, smoke that tickles at him and makes him giggle.
"Whoops," Bad says, flames instantly dying as soon as they appeared. Anna stands with a crack of her tail, stretching her wings before walking up to Bad.
"Nice sword but I'm still going to beat you next time," Anna crosses her arms, determination as solid as netherite blocks. "It was smart not letting your cards show until then, you had me disarmed and rushing you. I respect it."
"I think you had the right idea, I wasn't entirely expecting you to rush me. I had to think fast but if I hadn't," Bad shrugs gesturing to the scorch marks on the quartz. "I'm sure the same would've been done to me."
Anna nods and then she heads towards a bench, ready to sit and calm down a bit. Bad heads toward you, face flushed with exhaustion.
"Your sister is too strong," Bad says, slumping and pressing into your shoulder. You laugh, reaching up to pet his hair softly.
Ranboo's tail whips behind him cautiously, all of the humans oddly quiet after almost being hit by Bad's magic. "Does that... Is that your magic?"
"My flames?" You ask, briefly stopping your head pats to show Ranboo a miniature version of your flames, pure white that runs in your family, though more diluted in your sister. Typically, outside of a physical display of power and/or a skirmish, flames were meant to stay between families. Of course that was slightly true for your ideals as well but Tommy looked so in awe of it that you couldn't help but let it curl in his palm.
"It's warm," he mutters softly, sounding like a nestling with a skeleton cat.
"My turn!" Tubbo says excitedly, hand clasping around your flame. It fizzles away immediately and Tubbo frowns, turning to you. "Aw man,"
"Here you go, Tubbo." You coo softly, watching as he perks up instantly. Much more delicately he cups the flame, raising it to his face and bringing it close.
"It is warm," he says, tilting his head. "But it doesn't burn."
Bad laughs, head nestled under yours. "Most flames don't burn if the wielder allows it to. But it requires more concentration with non-flames than it does with ⎓ᔑᒲ╎ꖎ||."
"What happens if I touch it," Sapnap asks, peeking around you. He steps closer to Tubbo, making threatening grabby hands. "Gimme!"
Tubbo peels away, futile in an attempt to escape. Much quicker than him, Sapnap catches up to him and snatches the flame quickly. Unlike earlier, the flame stays strong and actually grows along his skin, flickering with playfulness.
"That tickles," Sapnap laughs, he then jogs over to Dream and gestures for him to grab some of the flame along his arms. He does, passing it between hands like it's some sort of ball. George pokes at Sapnap arm but doesn't grab any.
You look at Bad, smiling when you realize he's already looking at you too. "╎ ꖎ𝙹⍊ᒷ ||𝙹⚍."
Bad tucks his face into your neck to hide his smile, though he mumbles the words back.
As Tommy starts pestering Anna for swordsmanship lessons and Phil is trying to stop Technoblade from stealing your weaponry, you feel happy. This feels like home, as unconventional as it may sound, being surrounded by people. Being next to your twin flame.
Bad links his fingers through yours, lifting them to press a soft kiss to your knuckles. Again, he repeats the words. "I love you."
"I love you too, little flame," You grin, leaning down to knock horns.

Description: You, George, and Wilbur visit the US. Unsurprisingly, it's hard to keep your feelings for Wilbur and Sapnap lowkey. (Sapnap x M!Reader x Wilbur)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
The sun was warm against your skin, the soft pink shades of the sky melting into purple and orange and the prettiest shade of yellow you've ever seen. George is tucked into your shoulder, tired from the long flight, sitting with his legs tucked by his side on the bench. Your luggage is pulled in close, close enough for you to keep it all safe.
Wilbur is leaning back against the wall, one of his legs splayed over your lap. He doesn't look too sleepy but he still rests his eyes for a few seconds. His pretty lips puff up at the cold, blowing hot air out before they decide to tug themselves closer to you. As both of their personal heaters, you're also now responsible for their luggage.
The taxi should be getting there soon but you can't find it within yourself to wake up either of your boys, George leaning against your collar bone like he was 7 again and Wilbur slumped into your shoulder, head pressed to yours. His cold arms, bare without the sweater he had given to you, are wrapped loosely around your waist. Even in his sleep, he desires to be closer to you.
You press your cheek closer to him, breathing in the feeling of packed air, warmed by the sun and cooled by the wind. It's nice, you think. Wilbur's sweater pools around your hips and you smile. You weren't able to wear your binder on the plane, as it was longer than 8 hours, so Wilbur offered his sweater to make you more comfortable.
You pick off a piece of lint and another car rolls up to the curb, one of many. This one though has your taxi number on it. You nudge Wilbur up and he blinks away the sleep easily enough. George groans when you try the same thing with him, his bottom lip jutting out into a pout instantly. Wordlessly, you cave and pull him up yourself.
He stumbles into your arms and with practised ease, you pull him towards the taxi. Wilbur's already shoved your luggage in the trunk with the help of the driver, instantly settling into your side as you sit in the middle of both of them again. If you weren't playing the role of responsible adult right now, you'd fall asleep with them.
The ride is a bit bumpy but you manage to avoid potholes and surprisingly quicker than you expected, you appeared at the hotel you'd all be staying at. George had tried getting you to agree to stay with him at Dream's house but although you had a close connection to Sapnap, liking someone and living with them were two different things. Wilbur had agreed to share a room with you, with two beds, while George stayed with Dream and Sapnap. Today though, with the early morning sun leaving you all drowsy, you and George piled into the same bed while Wilbur collapsed on the other fully dressed. Shoes and all.
Pulling your brother's shoes off, tucking them by the door, you also took Wilbur's off. He grumbled something thankful but was still face down in the bed, too muffled for you to fully hear. You took off your shoes and switched to more comfortable pants. After throwing a blanket over Wilbur and tucking your brother under the covers, you wiggled next to him.
George latched onto you, ever a clingy sleeper. He babbled something incoherent in his sleep before twisting to eat a mouthful of pillow. You gave up stopping him, relaxing back. You could still see a bit of sun peeking through the window, now higher and stronger. Not as pretty but still just as warm and cosy. You closed your eyes with the last image in your head the thought that orange and yellow mixed well together.
{《☆》}
George ends up pushing you off of the bed just a few minutes before it turns 9 am. You take a deep inhale and exhale, contemplating the consequences of sleeping on the floor. Your back aches just at the thought and you sit up when you realized it'd make it another day without a binder if you fell back asleep.
The bathroom in the hotel is big, with clean marble counters and a porcelain bathtub. You take your time brushing your teeth and using the bathroom. You quickly pull a binder out of your suitcase and it takes you barely any time to put it one, relaxing back into the tightness of it. It doesn't hurt, George would kill you if you ever purposefully sized down, but it hides your chest well and honestly, you're convinced whoever made them was a god.
Flicking the lights off, you pull the curtains apart. The sun, shifting higher in the sky with every minute that passes, shines down on Wilbur's face from where he hangs slightly off the bed. You reach over to pull his head on the bed, smiling down at how he melts into the contact, leaning into your hand with a simple shift of his neck. You can't help yourself from brushing your finger over his cheek, thumbing the blemishes that make him so perfect to you. He looks so pretty, you realize for not the first time. It's a shame that Sapnap's heart also weighs you down.
You like both of them, that much you've managed to realize before you left. it's an odd thing to think about, knowing that both of them hold something delicate to your heart. You know there are solutions, communication would be the best option, but even the thought of talking about your feelings have your brain-twisting.
You shake Wilbur's shoulder to avoid thinking about it more. He grumbles with some curse word or another hissed with it. You shake his shoulder again, "Wil, wake up."
He flips to his side, hand reaching up to grab your own. He tugs your arms closer until you stumble onto the bed too. Wilbur flips the blanket to wrap cover you and wraps his arm over your shoulder, an ineffective way of trapping you if you were fully awake but one that manages to keep you there anyway. "No."
"Wilbur, we should go eat the free breakfast before it's over." You try, still trying to unwrap the blanket. "Otherwise you're going to have to pay for Walmart food."
Wilbur grumbles, digging his nose into the pillow. You smile softly, reaching up to the arm around your shoulder. Gently, your pull away and trace his knuckles. "C'mon, you'll get to see what George looks like half-asleep."
"Fine," Wilbur grumbles, pulling himself up with you. You brush the hair from his face, unable to control the urge, staring into his beautiful brown eyes. He smiles dopily at you, pressing a gentle kiss to your fingertip when your hand drops. "Good morning,"
"Goodmorning, Wil," You stand up, pulling him by his wrists until he stands, using you as his crutch for a second. The floor is cold and you suddenly realize you don't have socks on. It makes sense, who sleeps with socks on, but it's still a jarring sudden realization. "Now, go brush your teeth so that I can start waking him up. Go."
Wilbur walks off and you push yourself forward to get over the way his hips move. George is clutching a pillow close to his chest, blankets kicked off of him in his sleep to lay fitfully on the floor. You, unceremoniously, plop on top of him.
"Oof!" George whines, falling back into a routine you knew so well. "Get off you big oaf!"
"No, I don't think I will," You wiggle more, pushing back as George desperately tries to push you off. "Now get up."
"No," George kicks at you, rolling over and pushing his face into the pillow. He cries out as you scoot over him again, going weightless. "Fine, fine get off!"
You roll off of him, grinning at his unimpressed glare. Reaching over, you squeeze his nose between your fingers and he swats it away quickly. "Goodmorning, ratface,"
"I'm literally going to kill you," George sways for a second standing, making you lean over to check on him, but then he rights himself in a second and leaps at you. Quickly, you both are tumbling on the bed, George's elbow bitting into your side before you roll him over and kick him softly to the other side of the bed. Your giggle is cut short by George throwing a pillow at your face.
"Really?" Wilbur asks when he walks out of the bathroom, eyebrows raised, ruffling his wet hair that is frizzy and stuck up. He shakes his head with a smile, "C'mon, I thought we were going to go get breakfast."
George frowns up at Wilbur, pouting. "Fine, I'll go get washed up."
"Are we meeting up with Sapnap and Dream today?" Wilbur asks as he sits, throwing a leg over your lap. You shrug, glancing over at your phone that sits on the night table innocently. It doesn't seem to buzz at all but then again, Sapnap usually texts you a late good morning to match with your time.
(The thought that now he doesn't need to buzzes in your brain.)
"I can text and ask if he's open to meeting up for lunch later." Glancing over at the bathroom your brother is washing up in, you frown slightly. "Maybe, George would like to meet up earlier though. We can always have breakfast together, I suppose."
"Well, what about you," Wilbur asks, making you turn back to him. "What do you want to do?"
"I dunno, I guess I'd like to stay and have breakfast with my brother before he leaves."
"So we'll stay and have breakfast here," Wilbur smiles at you, lips smoothed into the prettiest smile you've ever seen. "Glad that's settled now."
You laugh, pushing his leg off your lap gently. George comes out of the bathroom, flopping down forward into your lap, throwing his arms over Wilburs. It's nice to laugh with people you hold so dear, even if something was missing.
{《☆》}
A few hours later you're dressed up in a casual, but nice, outfit as you all prepare to meet up with Sapnap and Dream (though the man argued that he could just order food in so that you could all eat at his house) they both agreed to a small restaurant that sold private rooms so that they could all keep their appearance lowkey.
"(Y/N)!" Sapnap cries out, face split into the widest grin. He is too close to need to run but he still jogs towards you, arms outstretched wide and inviting.
"Sapnap!" You yell back, leaping forward into your online-- now IRL--- friend. His arms are warm, enveloping you tightly as he pulls you so much more closer. Tears are wetting your eyes and threatening to spill but Sapnap blubbers out odd words as he jumps with you, spinning and almost knocking both of you to the ground.
"(Y/N)!" Sapnap cries, sniffling himself. It makes your eyes water and then a few tears spill. "You're here!"
"So are you!" You pull away, wiping at your eyes with a grin. "Oh my god! Sapnap!"
"(Y/N)!" He chirps again, smiling even wider.
"All right everyone, calm down," Wilbur chuckles as he gives a small clap of his hands, watching you and Sapnap with a curious look in his eyes. (Above/Below) your head, their eyes meet and something sparks. It's only when Wilbur says this do you realize that someone came in behind Sapnap, Dream, and is still holding your brother in his arms. It's not inherently romantic but it makes you smile at how happy your brother is to finally be with his best friends.
"Let's sit," Dream says with a smile, pulled away from your brother but still at his side. You take the seat in the middle, Sapnap and Wilbur on both of your sides. "It's nice to meet you, (Y/N). I kinda can't believe you guys are in America now."
"I know, it's oddly weird to be back," You rest your hand on your palm momentarily before your mother's chiding voice bites back in your head telling you to keep your elbow off the table.
"Oh yeah! You went to school here, didn't you," Wilbur smiles at you when you turn to him, remembering a fact you had forgotten you told him. "I don't remember the name, sorry."
"That's fine, I stayed in Cali studying (major) but I was around another month or two before I came back to bother George." You poked George over the table, laughing when he swatted your hand away. "I haven't gone to see much of Florida."
"Most regular people don't," Sapnap nods, nudging shoulders with you. "Dream's holding me captive though,"
"Oh shut up, Sapnap," Dream scoffed, narrowly missing you as he kicks Sapnap under the table. He rolls his eyes, still smiling fondly at him.
The dinner passes quickly, something warm and gooey bubbled up inside of you with every joke that made you laugh until your insides hurt. This was nice, it was more than nice, it was all of your favourite people in one room. It felt like home.
{《☆》}
Sapnap decided to stay with you and Wilbur and wander the streets, Dream and George going to pick up his bags and take them to the shared house. You balanced on a car bump in a parking lot of a 7-11. Wilbur was poking around in the store for something to chew on, assuring you he would get something good enough for all of you.
Sapnap stood in front of you, smiling all amused at you as you teetered. "Having fun?"
"Yes, I--" You shrieked as you fell forward, taking Sapnap down with you. You tumbled into the gravel, giggling like children.
Wilbur stepped out of the store, leaning over the two of you. "Should I ask?"
You giggle again, reaching up to pull Wilbur down with you. He stumbles and is slightly over you, an arm keeping him up on the side of your head. "Hi!"
"Hi," Wilbur smiles, moving to get off of you. Still though, in the spirit of all of you on the gravel, he lies down next to you. Sapnap reaches over you for a handful of whatever Wilbur had gotten.
It comes up suddenly, a burst of affection for both of them. You can't stop yourself from muttering it softly to yourself, not as quiet as you had thought, however. "I love you guys."
"Love you too," Sapnap says, as light as wind. The words freeze you but Wilbur doesn't skip a beat.
He shifts to his side, facing both of you. Quick and easy, he leans forward to kiss your nose. "Love you."
You fluster horribly, hands reaching up to cover the horrible grin you have now. "I didn't mean to say that."
"We still meant it," Wilbur says, eyes so soft and sweet as they look at you.
"Yeah," Sapnap nods along, staring up at the darkening sky above you all. "You're like, amazing."
You laugh because you don't know what else to do. "I didn't expect today to be like this."
Sapnap shakes his head with a smile, "I wouldn't change a thing."
"Neither would I," You mutter as Wilbur leans back over to give you a real kiss.

Description: Knowing the king can come with a few benefits, and also a few stresses. (Eret x m!Reader)

Dean knits the yarn between his fingers as you talk, more than happy to rest his legs over your chest. You hang off of his hospital bed, "So Spencer decided to actually talk to Derek, right? But apparently, Derek had gotten with Savannah, the medic lady."
"Derek is stupid, Spencer is amazing," Dean frowns, still the same kid who'd follow Spencer around like a duckling when he was younger. "Isn't Savannah the one who makes the bad eggnog?"
Right, that incident left a permanent mark on your brother. Dean loves eggnog and for Savannah to make it so horribly permanently tarnished her name in his eyes.
"How have the doctors been recently," You fiddled with the end of the scarf Dean had been knitting. "I heard they're close to a cure."
Dean shrug, awkwardly ducking his head. "They haven't told me much, just that they're starting testing and it's going well."
"That's good," You reach up to brush a finger against his cheek. "You know Mom would be so proud of you. I'm so proud of you."
"I know," Dean says, leaning into your palm. He didn't remember your parents but his eyes got all shiny whenever you brought them up. "Can you call off today?"
"I wish I could," You sigh, slumping back against the bed. "But just because I got the promotion doesn't mean they can't take it away. Calling off during the first week wouldn't help."
Dean frowns, pouting as he continues his scarf. "Will you visit tomorrow?"
"Of course, bud," Standing tall, you leaned over to press a kiss to your brother's forehead.
{《☆》}
You fix the straps on your arms, pulling the iron armour tighter around you. Something about being a permanent guard for the king- for Eret- was nerve-wracking. Kori and Raven were fixing their own armour behind you, joining you on your shift. It was nice to hang out with them, as teasing as they were.
Oh, the teasing. Even since your little breakfast date with Eret, none of Eret's Eight have stopped poking fun at it. Light-hearted, of course, but still embarrassing.
You press your lips together, trying not to let the thought of Eret break your carefully crafted aloofness. You pull a strap too tight, the metal digs into your arms but it's bound to loosen more so you don't bother fixing it.
Kori and Raven are already out the door, with months of practice in the complex straps and with the efficiency to prove it. They wait for you at the door, Kori blowing their bubblegum up loudly.
"Is Sara still waiting for us?" You walk over quickly, careful not to trip over yourself. You've done it before and let me tell you, standing in full iron armour is hard. Your sword is sheathed at your side for quick access but Kori and Raven don't seem bothered to do the same.
"Nah, she always heads out a bit early on Saturdays," Raven nudges Kori with a matching grin. "She has to meet with her secret loverboy."
"Or lover girl," Raven laughs, running a hand through their spiked up black hair. "I know Sara isn't one to discriminate."
"Oh don't try teasing when she isn't here," Kori shakes their head with a grin. "Not when (Y/N) right here is free ammo."
"I hate both of you." You hide your smile by walking away, still a bit put off by the idea of Eret being unprotected.
The pretty walls of the castle greet you pleasantly, warm and just as cosy as before. You love the feeling of being in these walls, it reminds you of the childhood home you and Dean used to live in before you sold it.
Quickly, Kori and Raven catch up with you. Together you speed up and are standing at the door to Eret's council room. Last you had been told, he had been in a meeting with a few of the other kingdoms. It sounded far more important than you felt comfortable protecting, but it's not like you had a choice.
Fixing your armour, the metal still digs into your arm. it's slightly more grounding than it is painful. You're glad something can keep your heart from racing as fast as it could. You already feel it almost ripping out of your chest with anxiety. It's only been a few days since you last saw Eret and still, you're smitten lovesick.
Kori walks into the room without any precaution. He is confident and you anxiously follow after him. Raven closes the door behind you all.
"Goodmorning, your majesty," Kori says with an actually acceptable amount of respect. You've never heard him call Eret his real title. It's an odd thing to actually consider after so long. You follow in his footsteps though, not sure if there are actual rules. "My King,"
Eret looks absolutely heavenly. His hair is curled around his face, a golden circlet in place of his crown today. The cape he is warning fluffs up around his neck, dragging your eyes across his jawline. He smiles, just as sweet and lovely as you've grown accustomed to. "Goodmorning, Kori, Raven, (Y/N)."
Quickly, you step into place at his side. Kori standing at his back while Raven takes his left side. There are royalty and emissaries scattered around the room. They give you an odd glance before they seem to suddenly forget you're even there. Honestly, it's a relief to not have to hold yourself up straight in their eyes.
"I'm glad we could agree on this," Eret says, continuing from when he paused. "I don't think it'd be in our best interest to attack L'Manburg while it's still so young and flighty."
"Then that's where we disagree," A noble lady, the one who runs the capital of Aeothet, says. "The only reason we have suggested a temporary peace is only that our kingdom has been struggling with the loss during the war, we care not for that false nation."
Eret's eyes flash with something dangerous, something that has you readying your sword in case he needs your help. "If I remember correctly, Lady Anastasia, your city started very much the same as President Soot's, did it not?"
Her face flashes with something mildly bitter, "We did not dishonour ourselves enough to break away like that foolish president did. This land is blessed good fortune by Prime."
"And theirs by Lady Death," Eret leans forward with a cold smile. "Or were you not aware the lineage of President Soot, son of Lady Death and her Angel. So long as she breathes life into her son, she breathes luck into their lands."
"Very well," Lady Anastasia exhales heavily, sepia hand pressed to her cheek and covering her mouth. "We leave their land alone, they shall rot from the inside either way."
Eret doesn't even bother smiling now, looking right into her eyes as the silence lingers. You tuck your sword back in your sheath, looking at his thin-pressed lips and glancing back up. Your king turns his head to look at you and the tension drains from their shoulders, his lips perked into a small smile. "Continue with your border update."
"Of course, your majesty," Lady Anastasia said slowly. "The Badlands have been building closer to the East border than comfortable and with L'Manburg's recent independence they're closer than ever."
"Badboyhalo knows an attempt on our land, especially so close to the end of the war is risky," Eret hums, surprisingly lax with the thought. "We don't have to worry. He's smarter than that."
"Of course," Lady Anastasia bows before taking her seat. You glance over at Eret and find him deep in thought, frowning down at his clasped hands.
{《☆》}
"That was so stressful," You complained to Raven after the meeting ended. Eret stood in front of you but you could see the smile at your misery. he tried hiding it but at this point the betrayal was public. "I can't believe you're all making fun of me. Those people are scary."
"They couldn't hurt a fly here," Kori waved his hand around, coming to a stop in front of Eret. "We've got this place protected better than Lord Dream protects George."
You shake your head, trying not to smile. "I suppose that's true, but it's still nerve-wracking when they look at you."
"Just don't look back, pretend that you're a statue with sentience trying to not let anyone know you can move," Raven wiggles their fingers at you, undeterred by the lack of reaction you give. "Or you can just ignore them regularly but that's boring."
"Or," Eret starts, blinking rapidly at Raven, "You can find something else to look at. You can stare at some of the paintings in the rooms or look out a window, when I was a kid I used to stare at the garden for so long I memorized where the leaves fell during the fall and how long it took for the water to freeze over."
"Oh don't worry, Eret," Kori throws their arm over your shoulder. "He's already got someone to stare at."
You roll your eyes. "C'mon, Eret, you should eat dinner before your next meeting."
Eret steps over to you, taking your hand in theirs easily. "Alright." His hand is cold but you've never felt more comfortable.
Kori and Raven follow behind you guys with matching grins.
Food is made quicker than you could recite the entirety of the bee movie, Eret already pouring a second drink for you. It's become a bit of a dance between the two of you to see how much he can get you to eat before you stop him.
So far, the highest record is still the first breakfast you two ate together.
Kori and Raven pour themselves their own glasses of lemonade, standing closer to the table than the doors. You can't hear them well but you're sure Kori's saying something stupid.
"I was wondering what you do in your free time," Eret asks to break up an idle moment. They place their glass down so gently it doesn't clink. "I know that Sara likes to go to those monster-fighting cages and Stephen enjoys the parkour parks but I've never asked you."
"I hang out with my little brother," You babble fondly about Dean. He's the only family you have left and you'd do anything for him, though not without making sure he experiences classic sibling embarrassment. "He's incredible. Dean reads a lot and he makes these adorable scarves and he's so incredibly smart."
"I didn't know you had a little brother," Eret smiles, eyes all crinkly at the edges. He tilts his head, leaning forward. "What's his favourite animal?"
"Polar bears, he says they're the strongest type of bear and that no other animal could defeat them." You laugh, remembering the debate he held against the nurses about the best type of animal. You personally went with Emus, an endangered animal in the Savannah biomes near desserts. "He once told me my opinion on animals was valid but wrong."
Eret chuckles with you, leaning ever so close with his chin resting on his hand. "I'm curious what he'd think about Flamingo's."
You shrug, not remembering the topic ever coming up. "I'm sure he'd find something wrong with them that Polar Bears are better at."
Eret offers a cut piece of steak to you, which you accept easily. Being so close still makes your heart stutter but he looks so good up close that you can't help yourself lingering a second.
"I can't see him tomorrow since my shift runs so long so I'm hoping that when I see him on Saturday it's before he needs his vest, he always naps after," You fuss with the fork, remembering the days before the hospital, he had once slept so long he missed dinner. You had made an extra big breakfast to make up for it but he still complained about it so much.
"Vest?"
"It's for his illness, the doctors haven't named it but he's had it since he was a baby." You poke at a piece of steak before you pick it up. "It causes all kinds of trouble with his body. Lung issues, memory issues, hearing impairment. The doctors think they're close to a cure but it's still a rather small problem for most people, funding is hard."
Eret frowns, laying his fork down on the plate. He fiddled with his fingers, thinking deeply about something. "I'm sorry to hear about that."
"It's okay, it's better than nothing," You shrug. When your parents died, you would have been weeping for a chance to "fix" your brother. Older, not as stupid in grief, you realize there was never anything broken. Your brother's life is hard and he deserves the best in life, that is why it's important. If you had to pay for his treatment forever, you still would. And if they're close, you can still wait a few more years. "Dean is strong. No matter what happens, he'll make it."
"If there's anything I can do to help," Eret starts, fiddling with his fingers. It's odd to see him so anxious and embarrassed. "I want to help you and your brother, (Y/N)."
You smile, brushing your hand over his. "That's kind but we're not the only ones going through this. I'd rather help the funding for everyone than just my family."
"Okay," Eret says like it's just that easy. And for him it is. His kingdom is overflowing with riches, a treasury full of diamonds and emeralds and gold. As king, he can do what he wants. Good for you, romancing (marrying 😳?) rich. "I can donate as much as needed for the cure."
His eyes look into yours, staring for something validating and sweet. As if you'd be anything less than in love with those beautiful blue eyes. "Thank you, my Eret,"
"Your Eret," he mutters back, leaning so close that your noses brush.

[Okay in my defence for so many Eret posts recently. . . I like Eret?]
[So I'm going to be doing something that you'll find out about real soon but before that, tomorrow, I'll post another chapter of Distance and then post Secret TM and then get back to my request list before anything else (might be a lie who knows)]
[I have finals in December and am Panic but will still be posting because nothing can stop my Super Simp December (does anyone remember Super Simp September last year?) So I promise I won't drop off the face of the earth yet (: ]

Welcome to my new Wilbur x M!Reader story! (<-Link)
Originally the hope had been to format it for both Tumblr and Wattpad but the way Tumblr works doesn't suit both the format and potential length so it'd staying on Wattpad for now. The hope is to post chapter links here for you all to read for now and then figure out a way to post on both sites.
Note: This story is something I've been working on for a bit and does not yet have an update schedule. One-shots will still be coming out and requests are still accepted.

Description: This contest isn't a game between friends. Somehow, you find some anyway. [Dream Team x Reader]

{《☆》}
You worried your lip between your teeth, leaning back against the coarse fabric of your bed. Teams were already forming, people huddled in their own unconsciously divided sections watching stragglers warily. The next game was set to start soon and you hadn't joined a team, an unsettled pit in your stomach every time you thought about picking a side.
There were two large groups, one set of people referring to themselves as "L'Manburg" and another calling themselves "Dream's Ensemble" or something similar. Each leader was a stark division from the other, one team lead by the first number, 001, and the last number, 486, though you didn't remember who had which.
Your own number, 243, was smack dab in the middle of both of the numbers. In a way, the rest of the stragglers considered you their de-facto leader with no one else taking up the mantle. There weren't many who hadn't chosen a side but there was still enough people for you to feel so small for the shoes you were trying to fill.
You tore a piece of your bread apart, shoving it in your mouth with nothing else to do. It wasn't amazing bread, not warm and soft and slightly buttery, but it could've been worse. You've had people give you worse. You took a good look over the people spanning the beds around you. They weren't trustworthy, not truly, you didn't know half of their names and the rest of them were a blubbering mess of weak spots. Weak spots got you killed.
Frowning, you ripped off another piece of bread. As you shove it in your mouth. the disgusting taste of paper hit your tongue. You've eaten enough scrap paper in times of desperation to know the taste of ink smearing your tongue. Spitting it out, you wipe at your tongue with your sleeve and grimace at the slobbery piece of paper in your bread.
'Circle. Triangle. Star. Umbrella.'
It was scrawled in perfect print. on such tiny paper that it was a wonder you ever noticed it. You glanced around, curious if anyone else noticed the odd taste. No, nothing. No one had hunched into themselves reading a tiny pink slip. You were the only one to notice.
Without thinking, you shoved the paper in your mouth. It wasn't a good taste but you had a feeling the slip had something to do with the next challenge. Shoving the rest of the bread in your mouth, you chugged the rest of your milk and wiped your mouth. The next challenge would be starting soon, you should probably try to make some alliances, however strained.
"Hi," Someone walked up to you before you could move, white-rimmed sunglasses pushed high up their nose. Their light brown hair was bouncing with their steps. "I don't think we've talked yet."
"No," You affirm, briefly looking over their shoulder and catching the stone-faced leader staring back. Goosebumps trailing your neck, you twist your head up to look in 404's eyes from your low position on your bed. "I'm Y/N. No last name."
"George, last name not needed." They said, lips quirked up with amusement. "So, I'm only asking because Dream told me to but would you like to join the Dream SMP."
"No," You said without needing to think. You could join, but they had a target painted on their back by L'Manburg and it was drama unneeded. "I appreciate the offer but I'd rather stay a neutral party for now."
George didn't look surprised at all. "I thought so," he said, solidifying your guess. "You don't seem the type to instantly join a fight. You'd watch and wait for the right moment to join. Dream didn't think so but he's a stupid American."
"You're oddly observant," You say in lieu of a response.
"And so are you." George did smile this time. a sweet little thing, shy but heart-warming. "Word of advice, don't wait too long. You sit around the entire time and people won't need you. You'd be another death in a game where people stopped keeping track."
You look at George, really look at him, and he is unassuming with his too-large zip-up hoodie that wasn't his and his boyish, charming features. There is a sharpness to his face though, sharp teeth hiding behind soft lips and edges that could cut steel. His eyes, barely noticeable with the sunglasses. see too much with a smart glint that has you wondering what he doesn't know. He tips his head to you, face going back to an impasse.
"See you after the game," His voice is solid, confident. You are confident too.
{《☆》}
You pick a triangle and it is the easiest decision you've made in a while. George greets you with a tip of his head, already leaning back into a bed when you're done. Dream is looking at you over his shoulder and the goosebumps are back.
Settled down in your own corner of the nobodies, you don't expect anyone to bother you until gunshots start ringing out. But someone does, shaking your shoulder and then leaping back when you swing your leg at them.
"Woah," 034 has their hands raised in the air, a large distance between the two of you. They have a bandana wrapped around their head, swaying with them as they lean back. "Sorry dude didn't mean to startle you."
"Whatever, why are you here?" You grumble, a bit peeved at being woken up.
"Uh, oh, Dream wanted to see if you changed your mind." They laugh nervously, scratching at their neck as they look back. Dream is staring at both of you, eyes slanted in an oddly personal way as he meets your eyes. His eyes are a hazel type, with a warm brown circling the pupil but a forest green mixed at the edges. They're like steel as they trace your face, searching for any emotion that will give away your thinking.
"I don't know," You look back at 034, not missing their minuscule flinch from your stoic gaze. "Depends. Has it been long enough?"
They sway in place, switching from the balls of their heels to the tips of their toes anxiously. Not meeting your eyes directly, 034 shrugged. "Maybe, dunno. Not up for me to decide."
You hum, watching 034's hair tilt and fall to cover their eyes, black hair sucking the light out of the world around them. Their white bandana is the only divide you can notice in his hair, too many dark shades blended together to tell which parts fluff up or twist sporadically. He's the type to look dangerous at first glance, sharp features and burning eyes that solder fear into your heart. But he's nothing without a fearless leader to command him. He is a right-hand man but nothing more. It does not make him useless, just troublesome.
"No, not yet," You look back at Dream, smiling with no emotions. He doesn't look different, still staring at you indescribably, just with his lips twisted down and pressed into a thin line.
{《☆》}
A fight breaks out at night. It shocks you awake as your bed shakes with the force of a body slamming into it. People are screaming, crying, bleeding out in front of you. The sheets you were sleeping on are white but the floor around you is not so lucky.
Dodging past a crazy person whose attacking wildly, you spot the two main groups attacking each other. Sharp edged bottles cracked up for weapons, metal bars from the beds gripped tight in small hands.
You squint down at them, stepping closer to the scene. Dream, George, and 034 are leading the fight, all sporting weapons against the relatively young adults that make up L'Manburg, carving lines into cheeks and stabbing shallow wounds into tripped people. You don't know if anyone even has a team when everyone's attacking at wild.
Kicking a bloodthirsty man towards the fight, he's taken down in seconds by an angry dutch man screaming something about furries. Blood pools around their body and you take the brief second to leap down and take their weapon off of them. Slick metal, dripping with blood, is wiped down with your shirt before you try using it. It wouldn't be useful if it fell out your hands the second you tried using it, would it?
You keep towards the outskirts, attacking anybody who gets close. They tend to scramble off quick enough, looking for bigger fish to fry. That is until an oddly tall British man leaps down from a bed and faces you.
"So, you're the person Dream's been trying so hard to get." 486 comments almost idly, bored in fact. "If I'm honest, you don't look like much. Too weak, don't look too smart, I'm honestly surprised you made it this far."
He's not entirely wrong. You hadn't entirely expected to make it this far either, after so much time spent not doing anything productive this felt like too much progress. It felt good to be good at something, but you're also struggling to keep it up.
"You're not all that either," You snap, aiming desperately for an insult to land. Your words sound so familiar to you and it takes you a second to realize they're words you tell yourself. "You're smart sure but your not a leader. Your followers won't respect you when you start losing. You're a phony."
486 grits his teeth as the words hit their mark, arms flexing as they grip their weapon tighter. "Shut up."
You dodge a hard swing, knowing now that you two are more alike than you had thought. You dig deep into the darkness of your brain, pouring every taunting insult you've been told into a mold for a weapon sharp enough to hurt 486. "Why? Afraid of facing the truth that you're building yourself too high. When you fall, no one is going to catch you."
"Shut up!" 486 yelled, face flushed a hundred shades of fury. They swing again and this time you cannot dodge their long arms. Large shards of glass stick out from your arm, cracks in the glass as you drop to the floor. 486 stands over you, looming with a wicked sneer. "You're just a pest. A stupid fucking-!"
Someone bodily slams into 486 with a battle cry, using their metal bed post to hold 486 prisoner against the wall. You take a harsh breath in, stilted like the fear ripped your lungs open. As you open your eyes again, George is standing in front of you. He smiles, a cheeky little smug smile that flushes his cheeks pink. "Saw you needed some help, it's not too early is it?"
"Right on time," You said with an airy breath. George reached down and pulled you up, his soft hands cold against yours carefully. He didn't let go and neither did you. "I'm very much reconsidering my neutral stance," Glancing back at George, you smirked a bit. "After all, I need my knight in shining armour to keep me safe."
George laughed, his cheeks alight with embarrassment. Brushing it aside for his own good, he smiled, "I'm glad you've decided to join."
Looking over at 034, he was wiping off sweat as 486 scrambled towards 213. They looked up, meeting your eyes and smiling. "Glad you're alright now, you looked pretty shit during that. I mean, you're hot and all but blood doesn't look good on anyone." They shake their head before laughing. "So, where's Dream?"
George shook his head fondly, "You're an idiot, Sapnap."
Sapnap grinned, sharp-fanged and welcoming. "You love me."
"Go away," Letting go of your hand, George pushed Sapnap's face away roughly. As Sapnap ambled back to Dream, George looked back at you. Softening, he smiled sweetly at you, raising a hand to brush someone's blood of of your face. "I'm glad you're not just a number. Like, really glad."
You laugh and reach up to hold his hand, leaning into it more than socially acceptable. "I'm glad you aren't either." When you let go, George keeps your fingers linked. He bats away wild attacks, pulling you behind him often.
Dream meets your eyes as you walk into their metal barricade. Their stone cold face breaks into a smug little smile. "I told you so, George."
"Whatever, Dream, go get Ponk," George rolled his eyes, meeting your eyes as Dream happily ambles towards another fellow.
The brunet rolls his eyes fondly. "Dream's prideful. He was so sure you'd join us."
"Well I did, so he's not wrong." You look over at the man whose face seems to be naturally blank. He looks back and as both of your eyes meet he smiles, a softer but very wrong look from the man. Maybe he's just one of those people with a creepy smile. That does sound fitting.
There is a certain relief that comes with being able to let others make your choices. Having people stare at you, expecting and waiting, it makes your skin itch with the weight. Sapnap seems to feel the same, watching Dream, who takes the feeling in stride and thrives, waiting for an order to attack, to wait, to sleep, anything. It's sort of like he's a puppy.
Smiling at your own thought, imaging Sapnap with floppy dalmatian like ears, you slump back into George's shoulder. The brunet doesn't seem to care, too busy wiping blood off of his metal pole. Sapnap looks over, meeting your eyes with his own wide smile. Definitely a dog-boy.
"The fighting seems to be dying down," Dream says, looking down at you from where he now stands at your side. They twist their pole in their fingers, like it's easy to manipulate in theihands. "You two can rest. Me and Sap can take the first shift."
"Thanks Dream," George says, instantly standing to curl in the bed withing the fort. "Come on, Y/N."
"Alright," You stand, brushing dust off of your bloody clothes. Maybe it was counter-productive. "Thanks for the save again, Sapnap."
"Anytime handsome," He laughs, nodding you away to sleep.
Pillow next to George's, you think that maybe you should've joined sooner.

❤ Sweet Summer Sun
(He/him pronouns)
(1000+ words)
Description: On a hot summer day, you and Eret are enough. (Eret x M!Reader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
You meet his eyes across the room. The dim lighting makes them glow, gentle off-white that bounces off his dark curls. Eret leans back against the wall, smooth lips curled and you’re suddenly thrown back to just a few weeks ago.
The horrid summer heat beats down against your skin, long blades of grass scratching at your cheeks as you lie in the field across the caramavan. His hands press to your forehead, pulling hair from your face painlessly, his beautiful smile tugging at his lips despite his attempts at serious soldier man. You press your face closer to his hands despite the heat, his cool hands are a nice reprieve from the heat actually.
“Hello, darling” His smooth voice, deep and gentle and oh so loving, is laced with that thin line of annoyance and amusement. “Aren’t you supposed to be making potions with Fundy?”
“Got bored, Fundy said we should ditch so we did,” You yawn, stretching your neck a bit and fixing yourself until you leaned nicely on Eret’s hand. “‘M not sorry, got to see you.”
Eret laughs, a loud, shoulder’s shaking laugh. It’s so endearing every time, the way his eyes crinkle every time he smiles and the gentle rumble in his chest with every giggle. He’s like quick sand to you, everything about him has you falling deeper and deeper, willingly letting yourself fall into everything that makes Eret himself. Letting yourself drown in everything that makes him perfect to you.
He strokes your cheek, brushing wet grass that still tries to cling to your skin off easily. “You’re such a flatterer, my darling.”
“Just for you,” You pressed a kiss to his palm. Looking back up, his eyes have gone soft and the beautifully strong white glow that you’ve come to love is shining a dull pink. You laugh, completely smitten with how openly his emotions are written to you. On a silver platter, Eret leaves his whole world out for you to judge.
“Such a flirt,” he mutters softly, leaning down to kiss you.
“Ew! Tubso, you see that! It's disgusting.” Tommy’s annoyingly familiar voice interrupts you two. “Imagine being in love. Oh mew mew mew mew mew I’m Y/N and I’m a simp for Eret.”
“Love is disgusting,” Tubbo nods along, both of them still dressed in their uniforms. Their thick clothing, by their own design, is made to hide the fact that they are men at all. Their own decision because, apparently, all men should die. They thought is so strongly they made it a "TommyInnit Rule". It was rather funny when Tubbo ended up screaming ‘don’t do men’ at Fundy saying ‘Rules should be like, don’t do x.’. And despite their love of women, romance was disgusting and Tubbo had sworn off ever getting married.
Eret chuckled at their antics as they got closer, his sunglasses back on his face. They brushed a hand through your hair one last time before standing at full height. Great, now you were the only one on the ground. “Tommy, Tubbo, what brings you boys here?”
Tommy groaned. “Wil sent us here. ‘Parently he caught Fundy and wants Y/N to go back.”
“Nooooooo!” You whined, staring up dreadfully at the sky. Tubbo peeked over your head, blocking out the sun thankfully enough. “Tubbo, my friend, join the dark side. We have nap time.”
Tubbo nodded seriously. “No one can say no to nap time.” Plopping down next to you, he shuffled to rest his head on your stomach.
“But Tuubooooo! Wilbur will kill me if I join the dark side.” Tommy whined, his braces catching the light of the sun. He pouted, looking every bit the child he declined being daily.
“No one said you had to join,” Tubbo propped one eye open, a shit eating grin on his face. “In fact, I don’t even want you here. Leave.”
“Wha-” Tommy spluttered indiginetly. “No! Actually I’ll stay here all day now!” He said it so proudly, like he was outsmarting Tubbo and not the other way around.
Tubbo playfully cried, “I’ve been fooled!”
Tommy threw himself over you, his chest thrown over your legs as he rested his head on his arms. Once situated comfortably, he purred contently, his ears fluffing up in that adorable way you’ve gotten used to.
Eret watches you three softly, something more than love in his eyes. You aren’t sure how you can tell at this point, but you can. They sit on the ground by your head, fixing their coattail so that it doesn’t get dirty. Well, dirtier. “Darling, I’m half convinced you’ve sold your soul to Prime for the ability to control Tommy.”
“I wish I had that ability,”You laugh, rubbing Tommy’s ears between your fingers. The boy grunts at you, a low growl in his throat that’s squeaked out with another purr. They had tried faking that bluff one too many times. “Sadly all I can do is get him to take a nap.”
“That’s more than anyone else can do. Imagine me telling him to nap, he’d curse me out and then laugh.” Eret paused, a considering frown on his lips. “Anyone besides Wilbur.”
“Wilbur is a magical man,” You agreed. Truly, you didn’t know how he did it. Managing to get Tommy of all kids to listen to him, to follow him. An unmatched experience.”Now stop talking words and lay down with me.” Making grabby hands at him, your words were a threat.
Eret chuckled. They interlaced your hands and pressed kisses to the back of your hands. Finally they sat down, lifting your head onto their thigh. “Get some rest, darling.”
“M’kay my sweet prince,” You yawned, patting his cheek softly. Eret leaned down and kissed you softly before pulling away. With his hands brushing through your hair you closed your eyes.
When you opened your eyes it’s not to the hilarious sight of Wilbur chewing out your boyfriend, it’s to the Dream Team standing in front of you. They don’t hesitate to attack and in seconds Wilbur dies in front of you.
Eret stands behind them all, glasses raised high on his face. “Down with the revolution boys. It was never meant to be.”
He looks away and Sapnap stabs you through the stomach in your pause. The sword is cold, everything is cold actually, but you think that maybe the betrayal of Eret’s betrayal hurts more than anything.

Description: Being a god is hard when you're not the one with power. As you ponder this, a certain god comes to chat. (Dream x Reader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
You spread your fingers wide, feeling the familiar curls of magic spread over your mortal form, encompassing it in more power than a normal mortal could handle. The withering grape vines held delicately in your hands come back to life, bright green leaves embued with your power blessing whoever decided to use them with the finest wine for years to come.
And as it always did when you used your magic to save your lifeblood, another god came to see who was messing with his.
"You again," Dream said, their mask fixed over their pointed nose, ever-calm and regal. "This is the fifth time this hour?"
"These are new and they are so weak. I must save their vineyard, they supply my biggest followers." You cast another hand to a few weak vines, thumbing a crumbling leaf between your fingers as it's too far gone death decays once more. "The nation is suffering from X-dee's happiness, for it has not stormed in many a night. If this goes on even the child cannot sing these plants better."
"I suppose that is true," The overseer of death looks upon the rows of decaying life and they sigh. They lift their own hand above yours, resting softly on top of yours as he pushes his magic into the air. For all the mortals' cries, Dream is not the god of death. He is the overseer and he is the judge but he is still fair and he is kind. The plant hums beneath your finger, back to life easier than it's known in weeks. "The mortals do not deserve your kindness, O'estatic one. They are greedy and one day they will mark their own end."
"And one day, albeit far later than theirs, so will we," You flip your hand to press your palm to his, sharing the most emotions in the easiest way godhood allowed. "We are not all-lasting as Chaos or Order, we are simply here as long as humans will it so. And not all humans are thieves or scoundrels, and not all thieves are scum amongst angels. As most humans are, I've found them to be complex."
You turn to your plants, sighing as you trail a vine. "Such fickle things, letting such irrationality guide their lives for so long, letting fear and indecisiveness plague their thought when if they thought to ration, would find people do not simply hate them for breathing. For what reason for plants if not humans to enjoy them, a fine wine such as the ones we lay to be created may never be tasted and appreciated because the right person decided for everyone else that nobody wanted them. I find that they are horrible things, but not for their own vile acts, but for the ones coming from a wrongfully good place."
"I haven't had such time to think like that," Dream admits, coming to your side. Here, so close to you, he tips the mask back from his face. Such opposing foes as yourselves, to think of each other as so close. Their lips are parted ever so slightly, his gaze focused on nothing as his mind runs.
"I only ever have time," You sigh, fixing the gold bands on your wrists. "You run a kingdom, I run a vineyard. Time is not something you come about sparingly, not without reason."
"So what is your reason?" Dream turns to you, his human-like freckles standing out amongst pale skin. It was always ironic to you, how someone who looked so human was so disconnected from them. The thought never lingered long, drowned out by prayers from newly-wed wives asking to be blessed with child or for drunkards for the best wine, sometimes even from the occasional person questioning their gender and pleading for advice from the god known as their patron. "Surely a god as kind as you would have loyal followers."
You shake your head ruefully. "The drought has either killed them all away or shown the ones whose faith had always been waivered. When I showed no help in ending it, even if only for it being out of my control, they had chosen their stance and switched patronage." Now your time was filled with visiting your still loyal followers, as few and far in between as they were. Laying small blessings upon the bastard child's head for green thumbs and fixing a quick wine for the laboured mother who wished for a break.
Dream frowned, emotions so humane they were written like scriptures upon his face and detailed in his eyes curve and forehead wrinkles. "I apologize, O'estatic one. I had not thought of how the drought might've affected the ones still based here."
"It is my hometown," You shake your head even if Dream does not understand the meaning behind your words. "Perhaps I was not raised here but my mother's blood spilt on these holy grounds for me to be born godly. I will bless these as my home for as long as the land remains."
"I'm aware," Dream shakes his head although he does not argue. Fixing a gentle stare over the vineyard, he extends his arm to you. "Our work has been done for today though. Come for a visit to my kingdom. It has been a while since our last dinner."
"Alright," You place your hand gently on his forearm and like a godly voice had not saved these plants, disappeared within a gentle breeze of wind.

Description: You, a fae of the seelie court, meets a dragon-kin with horns that shine like gold. (Technoblade x GN!Reader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
You are a protector of a hidden spring and secret entrance to the Faerie Realm, hand chosen by Queen Titania of the Seelie court and accepted by the old Queen Mab of the Unseelie court. You had trained since your youth, since before you had gotten the gift of wings, to become a high-rank fae in the court. You were now, though still youthful in the eyes of the court, with a strong connection to Life that granted you a thumb greener than a dryad and your magic it's own boost.
After many years of trickery for it, your position is often one filled with quick, sword drawn fights, ending in adventurers' heads laying at your feet, staining the blessed lands with their sinful blood. It is an honour, truly it is, to defend such a vulnerable point.
... However, it does sometimes get boring. You haven't had the option of stealing a name in decades and the only fae who greet you also leave within seconds. The routine had gotten too common place, too repetitive. It would ruin everything you had worked towards to give up your post so soon, especially with the high expectations from the courts, but some moments you found yourself considering it.
And blessed be by Fate, the ground rumbled with something ferocious. The cave shook and trembled, not crumbling with its blessing but shaking nonetheless and it was exhilarating. Finally, a moment of excitement. How could the might creature outside not be for you to cleanse your boredom when it come at such a convenient time.
With quick hands you grab your bow and head out of the cave. There is no sun here, not with the thick enclove of trees that hide your world from the masses. As you walk, a dragon-kin greets you. Large horn-like antlers on their head, glittering like gold. Their scales ripple down, a sunset pink that rests soft against their pale human skin.
They do not stumble or stutter in their step when they see you, just come to a smooth stop a good few feet in front of you. "Which court are you from?"
"Seelie," You answer, pleasently surprised by the question.
"May the sun shine upon you," The dipped their head, a sign of respect that had you fluttering your wings-pleased. They fix their braid, tucking pieces of hair behind their ear. "I seek refuge in the fairyland, if I may have the honor."
It's with a happy grin that you nod, "Of course. Your people are our allies, refuge is but a small gift." Gesturing for him to follow, you turn back towards the cage. Truth be told your people haven't had to accept a dragon-kin in ages for they were too strong to need refuge. For one of them to ask now, you were sure he was going to bring excitement to the world!
"So," he started, trailing off a bit. "It's a nice cave you've got here... very roomy."
You snort despite yourself, the cave can be described in many ways but never, ever in your experience, as "roomy". The dragon-kin smirks, looking awfully chuffed with himself. "Our hidden entrances are small for a reason, dragon-kin. They are meant to be hidden."
"Fair point," They huff, trails of smoke following despite the relatively high tempatures of the day. "You can call me Techno, by the way."
"Not a real name, I assume," You grinned, looking back over your shoulder with a sharp-toothed grin. "It's rather foolish to do so, if you did."
"Nickname," He shrugs, not bothered as Techno bares their own friendly little sharp-toothed grin. "Is there something I can call you?"
"Humans refer to me as an Anchor so I've recently taken to it as a nickname," You set your bow against the cave's side, hand coming up to rest upon the overgrowth that cascades the rest of the cave. You pull it aside and wait for Techno to duck around you. "But you can call me whatever you please."
Their chest rumbles with a chuckle, in a way so unfamiliar to you and yet you crave it all the same. "If that's the case than you can do the same."
"I think I might," You laugh back, although a part of you is curious just how far you could that the name game. As you yourself pass through the vines, your beautiful home lay in wait. The entrance you guard over comes to a popular area in the kingdom, close to the heart of the capital mostly filled with shops but densely filled all the same.
"Welcome, Sunray," You rest your hands on your hips, a proud smile as you overlook the kingdom and its citizens you protect proudly and would resolutely die for. "Just don't eat anything people give you." They'd snatch Techno up the second they could and if he ate anything you couldn't stop them.
"I wouldn't come here unprepared," His golden horns glitter in the lights, your own personal drop of sun. His words are oddly skirting around blunt words, something you hadn't initially thought the dragon would try. "I've read my fair share about fae before coming here."
You smile at the self-confidence, knowing that if you truly craved his soul he'd be dancing until his feet bled dry in a fairy circle by now. "Careful, sunshine, us faeries do like the sun but you forget some would rather snuff it out in favour of eternal moon. A special few here wouldn't see the difference between you and the sun."
Techno's lips quirk up at the thought, as if it amused him more than scared him. "That'd prove a problem for them, I've been told I'm a tough one to kill."
"For your sake I hope that's true." And for some odd reason, maybe it's the willingness he accepts the nickname or just your oddly eager adoration, but you link your hand through his. Techno lets you tug him along to get another guard to watch your station, grinning when you carry him to fly past evening traffic. You know now, with the prettiest drop of sun hanging from your arms, that your boredom was the best thing that ever happened to you.
"Go faster!" Techno yells, looking so very pleased. You push yourself for the giggles that leave him, like honey to your ears.

Description: After an argument with your brother, King Eret, you sneak out of the castle. During your adventure you meet three odd, wonderful boys. (Platonic Eret + Benchtrio x M!Reader)
[Read the rest under the cut]
{《☆》}
Eret sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers. His quill (how old school) is dropped to the side, staining a random piece of parchment and the edges of his sleeves. "For the last time, Y/N, you cannot attend dinner with King August."
"Why not?" You asked, not for the first time.
"Because you're too young. We're trying to discuss a peace treaty and I can't trust you not to ruin it." Eret is blunt, finally pulling his sleeve out of the wet ink splotch and grimacing. They look into your eyes, an uncomfortable feeling really, and their expression softens. "I really wish you could be there but this dinner is not a thing we can risk. Our borders are being contested so if we want this to end peacefully-"
"I can't be around to mess it up," You cut in blithely, managing to keep a smile on your face even as your brother's fell. "Got it. Well then, I'll be in my room, making no noise and pretending I don't exist."
Eret looks older suddenly, more exhausted as they lose their words before they can even grasp them. It leaks out of every pore, staining his stare blank and deepening the bags beneath his eyes. You've never seen a person lose so much life so quickly, nonetheless he doesn't say anything as you turn. Even as you linger in the hallway, the door stays shut and so you don't let the stares of Raven and Katrina weigh you down even as every step feels like a mile.
{《☆》}
You want some sweets. Not the ones in the castle, salted more than sweetened since that's what Eret likes, but the ones from the outskirts of the kingdom where the best sweets are smuggled from "L'Manchildburg". Normally, you'd just ask Eret to send you off with Sara or Kori but for obvious reasons you refused to do so.
In vindictive anger, you stepped out of your room despite whatever wordless promise you had made. There were no guards, an oversight really but it was an oversight that would be saving you some trouble. With quick hands, you push the large painting on the wall to the side and pressed your thumb to the sharp pointed thimble.
Blood dripped onto the metal and soaked into it, glowing a faint gold glow. The walls shifted, opening to long, large corridors of stone carved to perfection. Simple cracks layered the sides and you traced where Eret had carved both of your initials as a marker, running through the halls with you, getting lost and trying not to cry. You pulled away, something bitter lodged in your throat.
The labyrinth was made by your father as a gift for Eret's obtained kingship. Herobrine was not an amazing father but no one can say he does not try.
Quick steps forward, ignoring the way the walls shift in place as they read your intentions, making way to the capital. More specifically it seemed, a dimly lit alleyway with a knocked over trash can resting at you feet. The wall clicked shut behind you, lines smoothing away and melting back into brick walls.
The road was slanted, an odd sort of tension to going down and a struggle to walk up but you've walked it so many times that getting the perfect footing was practically automatic. The restaurants littering the sides were fairly loud for the daytime, doors caught wide open for any customer to step into. You distract yourself with catching the new prices for entering, a few dollars up for the steak-house but three dollars down for the pub. Easily enough, you're standing at the top.
This area is flatter, easier to walk, but it goes down long enough that you'd end up going in circles for hours and still not seeing everything it had to offer. A passing street musician plays a bit louder for you but you step past quicker, they'd never stop bothering you if you showed any interest, though you admit that they had an excellent voice.
Turning a corner, you stepped into a familiar café. A red-tie* owned sweets shop ran by Niki, a nice lady who had dual citizenship somehow. It had a nice atmosphere despite that, soft lighting handing from the ceiling with vines tangled with the cord. High top tables pushed against the wall, beanbags pushed into a corner near some plants, a front counter wide enough to sit and eat at.
It's nice, not overly colourful but with enough plants and throw pillows to break up the monotony. You took a seat at the counter, brushing off a few crumbs leftover by a past customer. "Niki! You here?"
A soft laugh from behind you, "It's my café of course I am."
You spin the chair, leaning back against the counter. "Just thought I'd ask," You spin again as she steps behind the counter. "Are you still serving (f/s)?"
"Of course," Niki laughs again, a teasing little smile on her face. "I wouldn't be your favorite cafe if I didn't."
"Mighty confident there, Niki," You press your lips together but it can't stop your smile from growing. "What if I liked that one café on Oreli street better?"
Niki gasp, exaggerated and scandalized. "You wouldn't dare."
"Oh but I would," You are openly smiling now, a bit of an ache in your cheek that's not really helping. "Maybe I should go there now—"
"Enough teasing," Niki rest her hands on her hips, still smiling. "Do you want your (f/s) or not?"
"I do, thanks Niki," You shamelessly laugh. "As many a you've got, actually."
"You're going to dry out your pockets before the festival even starts!" The reminder makes you brighten up, even as Niki shakes her head fondly. Racking her knuckles across the kitchens shared wall, she calls out. "Ranboo, we need (f/s) please."
A small crash sounded from the kitchen, followed by skidding as the door was cracked open the barest amount, a half-white half-black enderman staring blearily at the ground. With a lighter colour face, they blurted out an vague noise of agreement and ducked back through the door.
Niki looked over at you and you looked at her. After a comically long time, she sighed and wiped her hands on a towel. "I have to go check on him don't I."
"It is your café," You nodded along, tipping your chair back a bit. "I will just wait here and—!"
Niki reached over and strong-armed you over the counter. "Nope, if I have to deal with it, so do you,"
You grumble as she let's you walk around the counter. Glancing at each other, you take the first step in.
The organized neatness of the café is ruined by the disaster that was the kitchen. The counters were cluttered with messy pots and pans, cartons of milk tilted and spilling onto the floor with egg shells broken into hundreds of tiny pieces beneath your feet. Dishes were pilled high in the large sinks, including some extras sat in relatively neat stacks by the spilled milk. A pile of mud sits on a plate, smudge marks that were probably made by someone liking it. You really don't wanna know.
"Niki, I know what it looks like," The ram-boy says slowly, backing into a taller but more scrawny avian-boy. "But I have a good reason for what happened."
"Oh yeah," With her hands on her hips and raised brows, Niki briefly entertained the ram-boy. Mistake number one. "Okay, what happened?"
"Uhm, DISTRACTION!" They screamed, immediately sprinting for the back door. At the same time the avian boy screeched incomprehensible noises with garbled curses and uselessly flapped their wings to the door. With a startled gasp, Niki accidentally pushed you towards the half-white half-back enderman hybrid who startles a yelp and everything twists.
You fall to the floor, head fuzzy with black dots like flickering lights. Someone cursed above you, reaching down to pull you to a stand. "Look what you did, Ran—bow."
"It's Ran-boo," Another voice, deeper and squeakier than the other voice at the same time. "But they fell onto me!"
"No one's allowed to fall for you except me!" A third voice said indignantly with a small air of humour, a large stomp like a tantrum knocking you more on whoever picked you up. "We should just leave them here before Niki finds us."
"She'd be even angrier if we left her friend here alone like this," The deep voice said, attempting to reason with the angry voice. The person holding you tightens their grip at the thought, holding you up a bit more. "So please, can we not."
"Fine, for Niki," The angry voice pouts, loudly dropping to the floor. "Can I draw on their face while they're asleep?"
"No, Tubbo, you can't draw a penis on their face." Deep voice guy sighed, sounding like your brother whenever you prank Lord Dream (as if you don't do it everytime he visits).
"Aww man."
You blink, murky colours still flooding your visions but focusing more with every blink. You're leaning against a tall blond in a red and white shirt, his bony shoulder digging into your cheek as you lean against him. "What's going on?"
Your attempt at comprehensible words was mediocre at best, but you'll suppose it's good enough. Looking at the hybrid who teleported you there, a second wave of nausea comes tumbling out of your mouth.
As everyone scurries back, your yanked by the avian hybrid who had yet to let you go. Bringing your hand upon to wipe at spit and your half-digested lunch, you finally feel normal again. Pulling away from the avian, who happily let's you with a grumbled "Ew," at your throw up trail, you stand up tall and try to regain any respect your sickness had thrown away. "Well that was kind of rude."
You cringe, the voice of your brother reprimanding you in spirit. But the avian and ram start giggling to each other, making deep mocking voices of your words at the enderman hybrid. "C'mon guys, I already said it wasn't my fault!"
When he turns to you, he bows his head low, "I'm so sorry for teleporting you. Tubbo's told me it really sucks when you're not an enderman. I'm really sorry!"
"It's... fine," You shrug, grimacing at the taste of your own stomach fluids coating your teeth. "I mean, it wasn't intentional so no harm, no foul."
"See, Boo, you're fine!" The ram pats their shoulder with a bit of difficulty—you think their name is Tubbo so the other would be Ranboo— and dusting off their pants as they stand up. "I'm Tubbo!"
"I'm Y/N," You take the offered hand, trying to replicate your brother's strong handshake. Tubbo giggles despite the effort, his grip turning into Iron as well. It's almost a contest between you two. Who has the stronger hand grip?
Sadly, you've come to a loss and Tubbo whoops with victory. Turning to the avian, you stick your hand out. "Nice to meet you, chicken boy. I'm Y/N."
"I am not a fucking chicken! I don't even look like a chicken!" If he was an actual animal, you'd imagine it'd look like he had rabies. Foaming at the mouth with anger, chittering aggressively and non-stop. "Fuck you man! I'm not a chicken."
"Alright, alright, my bad." You backtrack quickly, hands raised in a placating motion. "I would like to know your name though chi–regular boy."
The avian gave you the stink eye, "The name's Tommy Innes! And don't call me that either." They set their hands on their hips in a close imitation of Niki. "You're a right prick."
"I prefer the words 'difficult to handle', it's a lot easier to read on your report card, ya know?" Suddenly you cringe again, the reminder of your brother's face when you did read it to him coming back to haunt you. Fixing your posture, you stick your hand out again after putting it down. "Nice to meet you."
Tommy takes your hand, his hands surprisingly calloused. "Your introduction was shit."
{《☆》}
You don't exactly remember why you followed them or why they let you follow them, all you remember is the exciting feeling of truly enjoying yourself, feeling light with every step, your face aching from smiling so hard and your stomach twisted with laughter. It was nice, so incredibly nice.
All good things must come to an end eventually though and the sound of trumpets sounding in the streets scare the shit out of you.
"Fuck," You curse through a handful of marshmallow Tommy had given you. "Fuck, shit, fuck, fuck, fuuuuuck."
"What's wrong?" Tubbo asks, strangely concerned. "Are you okay?"
"The King is on his way," You say as you try chewing quicker. The taste of too many marshmallows stick to your tongue, the taste stuck between your teeth and caught in your throat. It tastes like air now. "He's probably already here."
"What's wrong with that?" Tommy asks, face serious and lips drawn to an aggressive sneer. "Is he bothering you? I swear if he's messing with you—"
"No, Prime no," You say, louder than planned. "He's not, it's just, I can't be found by him."
"Are you sure—?" Ranboo starts, cut off by the noise of clattering metal and horse steps. Whirling around quickly, you're already done for. Too many soldiers to evade surround you, practically boxing you into the bench you're sitting at.
"Your majesty, we've found him," A soldier calls out, one hand resting on their holster as they watch you all. "Three unidentified subjects around him, all equipped."
You whirl back to look at them and wow is it a sight. Your new buddies, the practically harmless friends you've made—Tubbo cried when he killed a bee— are all wearing full netherite armour, sharp blades than you've ever wielded in their hands. "Guys...?"
"Y/N, get behind us," Tubbo says, eyes hidden by the helmets shadow. Something about his voice frightens you, but yet still being near him isn't scary. You aren't scared of him hurting you. For some reason you trust them all not to. But still...
Your brother steps up and you sink a bit, following Tubbos directions and hiding in hopes he somehow magically forgets about you in the next three seconds.
"Y/N, you said you'd be in your room." Eret says with an infuriatingly level voice. It is like the moon is dipping the sunset, cusping their back just enough for the light to shine down and flare around your brother, truly a king fit to rule the world. "Honestly I don't know what I expected from you."
You feel embarrassment claw at your throat, fighting with the rage in your stomach and suddenly you feel the urge to hurl. Tommy is at your side, one hand holding their sword up and the other offering a sort of protection for you. The consequence though, that is what paralyzes you.
"Your royal highness, please end this foolishness. We do not wish to harm your friends." A soldier calls, a beckoning hand outstretched as if you're a frightened animal awaiting rescuing.
Another wave of anger bubbles over you, pushing your embarrassment to your heels to be dragged with. "You dare threaten my friends. They have done anything you didn't force them to."
"Those are Mud Trackers**," Eret spits out, though the words don't surprise you. "Tommy Innit, Tubbo Underscore, Ranboo Beloved, all of them fought against us."
"You were one of them once too," You yell back but still there is a disconnect when Tommy flinches next to you. The truth is out. You are royalty and they are the tentatively neutral country, enemies forged through blood. They could have killed your brother and your brother could have killed them. You don't know whatever history that is hiding in Eret's anger but neither side are taking it well. "Stop taking your anger at me on them! If you're gonna fight anyone, fight me!"
The thought makes your brother step back, face falling into the first emotion you've seen on his face. Guilt. "I'm not going to fight you, and if you return I'm not going to fight them either."
"What if I dont," You say and there is a clenched hurt that comes with those words. "Will you kill them?"
"No, you know I wouldn't Y/N," Your brother says and it is softer, quieter. Eret sighs, crown tipped and without the sunlight he is just as inhuman as you, pain written into the curve of his frown. "Please just come home."
Tommy looks over at you and they are still angry even as they put their sword away. "Go fix this. If you need us, you know how to find us."
Not-quite-relief washes down your throat at Tommy's words. Ranboo and Tubbo keep their weapons but they too step back. Looking over at your brother, you walk with all the grace embued in your lineage, chin held high. As you greet Eret, he pulls you into a hug.
"I was so worried, Y/N," he mutters, arms wrapped around your shoulders as you burrow into his chest. "I'm sorry for being a dick. Please never do that again,"
"Okay," You manage to say, muffled in your brother's shirt. "But you are still kinda being a dick."
"Okay, I'll do better," He says, quiet and true. "Let's go home."
Before he can stop you, you pull away. Turning back to your friends, you wave, "I'll see you again soon, bye."
Ranboo waves back but Tommy and Tubbo look at each other and just nod. "Bye."
Eret doesn't say anything to your friends but there is something horribly sad in their smile. Maybe they had more history than just fighting, who knows. He turns to you, outstretched hand waiting for you. You take it easier than before. It isn't great, but it's something.
