More under the cut >:)
This was a bit of experimentation I did over a couple days in lectures -- it was a lot of fun, and I like how it turned out! As with previous Balloras of mine, I had no reference, but I had determination. There ended up being several versions:
I just think it looks rather neat :D
This is where things diverted a little from my initial... vision. Which wasn't much, just that I was considering leaving it with flat, much paler colours. I didn't even attempt that though, sadly (I had too much fun with the saturated colours). Some other day.
Inkeeping with classic fnaf fanart tradition, you have to try adding static at least once.
I made this one purely out of self-indulgence and curiosity. It did not work. But hey, at least I spent fifteen minutes tediously removing all the text and map from a random image I found :D
(I will likely make an actual video at some point for this)
Not sure how long this one took - 4-5 hours at most.
Software was ClipStudioPaint
And yes, I broke her arms because I didn't want to draw them. :)
Have a great day!
*pandaC - the themes used are animatronic + spoopy!
*this month I'm gonna try and draw each of the gamejolt mascots using the joltober prompts :D
Hi! I'm pumpkin - your fellow bemused creator! I honestly don't know what I'm doing here. Here's an introduction, of sorts:
Primarily, I am an artist, but I also enjoy writing, creating music, film making, and a ton of other things! Dunno what I'm gonna post here, but I'll come up with something to keep you entertained.
I have a couple other blogs for more specific branches of my content, which are:
^^ I'm running a choose your own adventure game on gamejolt, follow the blog to get both the comic pages, links to polls, announcements, and s e c r e t s . :D
^^ Sometimes I livestream on twitch! Generally I run silent art streams, art classes, cult activities with my friends, or other random things that pop into mind! :) Pop on down for a bit of fun every now and then, it's a good time.
*happy 10th anniversary, FNaF!
FNaF has been an aggressively huge part of my life ever since I was 10. Everything about the games themselves and the community has propelled me in so many ways. I've become friends with so many people because our first real connection was FNaF. It's safe to say FNaF is the reason I've kept drawing all these years. So - thank you, to Scott, to the franchise and everyone involved in it, to the community, to the musicians, the artists, to everyone. Thank you. And thank you for listening to my TED talk! :D
I've done a full deconstruction of the piece -- i.e. symbolism, processes, experiments, weird stuff, etc -- on gamejolt, if you're interested!
*the greedy grackle - theme is candy!
*I thought it was appropriate XD
Joltober2024 day seven - skull!
Joltober2024 day eleven - black cat!
Joltober2024 day eight - nightmare!
[uni tips, I guess] An essay/paper writing thing I find useful:
When writing an assignment such as an essay where it’s basically all words, I sometimes like to figure out how many sentences I need instead of going by the word count (initially, at least). For example:
Say the word count is 1500 — ouch, my brain says, that looks painful. No thanks — and the standard sentence length is about 25 words.
You go like 1500/25 = 60, and bam: you need 60 sentences.
Once you’ve got the first draft down, then you can rein it in according to the word count.
For whatever reason, my brain prefers this to working to a word count. It feels less intimidating, I can keep easy track of it and it also helps me plan my arguments a bit better.
I hope you might find this helpful — either way, it works for me and my audhd ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
