I am not sure how they got away with it, but I am glad they did. They did rlly well on the final episodes imo.

Something that's always kinda peeved me is when ppl forget Wei Wuxian looks nothing like mo Xuanyu. Like it's part of the reason no one really deeply suspected to because why would the evil yiling laozu take a poor, cutsleeve as a host? And wwx wasn't that bad of an actor. It's only bc he kept running into ppl that knew him the most that he was ever suspected.
